This was the encore after a superb evening of brass music - Fodens and Bram Tovey, such a marvelous combination. Hard to believe this was 15 years ago and that the Maestro is no longer with us...... but sorely missed!
I was lucky enough to play in this concert. What a concert it was with some unbelievable brass band music. Bram was a true musician and drew this out of every player in the band. Bravo to Festival of Brass @ RNCM
They say contesting bands can't interpret devotional music in the same way as S.Army bands, a mantra to which I adhere to in the main but, in this rendition Mr Tovey certainly blesses me!

Perfection is rarely achieved but I hear it in this most seriously performed rendition. And I’m a very hard grader. ❤

Very nice interpretation. Pity it's such poor sound quality.
