Pete it’s your favorite Longhorn fan. I love college football and I might be in the minority but I love the bowl games. Yes I know many don’t but that’s okay.
I’m trying to attend each bowl game at least once and I’ve seen 13 separate bowl games and some amazing teams play.
But as much as I love the bowl games I’d be happy to expand the playoffs to 16 teams or 18.
Maybe the Power 4 conference champs (no PAC 12 now) and the Group of 5 conference champs. That gives you 9 automatic. Then you pick 7-9 at large schools.
Oh and Notre Dame doesn’t get special exemption privileges. They’ve slightly above average at best.

Before I even listen to the full video, you have my sincerest apology for the all the crap I gave you this season on Tech basketball. You were right to be leery and I was wrong for being a bigger homer than normal. Respect to you Pete. Ok… now to the video.

Of course... but it's always good to have the conversation while people are getting ready for one of the biggest events of the year :-)

Can I just say this Pete? If our WVU women can make it past Princeton and somehow beat Iowa, that would erase this train wreck that we've suffered on the mens side. 🙏

A governing body? Over what? Greed?
The Supreme Court made it pretty clear that the players should be paid. And yet the CFP just signed a $7.86B contract that had ZERO provisions for the players. No mention.
It is protection for the coaches salaries and administrators salaries that they want from congress. They could solve this 'problem' today if they were willing. Make the players employees, encourage them to form a union, and bargain with said union. Done. Dusted. Everyone gets paid, but not everyone would be happy because of the unfettered greed involved on the non-player side of all of this.

How would forming a player's union impact the greed on the coaches/administrator side... ?
