I tried flatshifting in my mk8 the other day, was fun. These little cars are so quick, even in stock, I don’t feel the need to remap it, besides it will affect my warranty!
Doesn't really matter. Lots of people have modified these cars and no horror engine stories online to read about. I'm definitely modding mine as soon as it's run it. Assuming it ever arrives!!! 😡😡😡 thanks 🇨🇳 (only thing I believe will crap itself is the turbo after 60,000kms)
LOL you're one of those warranty folk! HAHA good for you! I'm with Emelia Hartford. My latest car went from the dealer to a workshop for immediate mods at 30km
Lauches better than expected, looks like just the wheels hop holding it back more than anything. An upgraded/stiffer lower engine mount should sort that like with the MK7s, would like to see it launch then
Hi Fabian, also downhill on this one? Pretty good 100-200 if its not downhill. I can tell you, my Mk8 with Revo st1 drives a 13,96 100-200 measured with a Dragy GPS device (flat road). The topspeed you have reached in the other video (260) I havent been able too (yet).
Hi, i would say maybe slightly but not that much. But i dont have exact figures, cause i dont drive there often. Whats the revo stage 1 supposed to deliver in terms of power and torque?
@@fabianwrc158 you are looking at 240 to 250 HP and about 370 NM. Some are measured even up to 260+. I had Puma speed stg 1 before and now this Revo. Its an complete animal now, I tell you ;-)
Yeah, cant complain about it, especially if you consider how agile this car is at the turn in. Nevertheless the Autobahn isnt its main territory, but no pain in the ass either.

I have the mk8.5 st (facelift) and it doesnt seem to have flatshift… did they remove it for the facelift or am I doing something wrong?
