The fact that I’m thinking of applying for a cake decorating job but I’m still learning the basics at home and I’m scared I’m not going to be good at the job😭
I have a question do they train you on how to decorate cakes or do you have to know? I took all the Michael's decorating glasses when I used to work at Michael's and I only do cakes for my kids bdays and stuff. I'm not the best at getting a cake smooth but I bet if I had your guys icing I'd be able to. It looks so light and fluffy when you get out of bucket but thick enough to we're decorating stays on.
@@shadowie1061 it’s been fun so far A cake tech came and trained us some more so it was very helpful he made stuff seem so easy lol but I’m sure he’s been in the business for years But so far I’m enjoying it
Yes. I’m a cake decorator at Costco. The designs are very basic and we can’t stray too far from what’s in the book, but we can write whatever you like.

You have to know how. They will test you during interview how to do a rose and some basic border so if you can do that you should be okay
