- Zola Jensen taught choir for 32 years in Idaho Falls, Idaho. She shared her contagious love for music with hundreds of students and changed countless lives. From all over the globe, 125 of her previous students came together (virtually) to sing their thanks. She has no idea what she is about to see. #GiveThanks
So grateful to have been apart of this and to celebrate what an incredible teacher she is! Love you Ms J!
Ohh that’s so cool
Awesome
Where did u go to school to make this happen
This was awesome! Y’all did a fantastic job and I know she loved this and will remember it forever
When she passes, and we all will, there will probably be no parades, a small story in a newspaper, no holiday named after her. But there will be no forgetting this lady. We should all have a life as well lived as hers. I had a teacher in 5th grade who died on us unexpectedly. We all loved him and at his funeral were folks he taught 30 years before. I never forgot him, he had a major impact on so many, myself included. Yes Mr. Armstrong, I still remember where the treaty ending the war of 1812 was signed. In Ghent, Belgium. He said I would never remember that. That was 60 years ago. this lady belongs in that group.
Wow, I’m crying. This is so sweet. This teacher will forever cherish what you guys did for her and vice versa!
Ok boomer
@@ur_only_meming yeah
All teachers are extrodenary but some are over the top they deserve alot more than they get
True
Best tribute I have ever seen from (former) students to a teacher.
2:04 "I'm a teacher because 4 you" - inspiring another person this much to become a teacher? Nicely done
The people who organized and edited this, should be very proud. Mad respect!
Beautiful
True indeed
I want to be a teacher because of all of my teachers.
How’s the audio not lagging.
Lol I think they just recorded it themselves and sent it in, and someone put all of the videos together through editing and synced them.
Audio and video are separate and edited together. It’s a pain in the butt.
Ikr...
@@aspen5151 I see
Put it in an editor and it will since the video automatically with the sound
I'll be back here in a year.
Thanks UA-cam recommendations.
The mom holding the baby while singing was awesome. She's so busy but she still able to join them to honor their teacher.
There is still hope for humanity!!
A fitting tribute to a wonderful mentor, director, teacher and an apparently well loved teacher.
A good teacher can change your life. In loving memory of my wonderful teacher, Miss Alba Muzzi. From Florence, Italy
Me as a teacher, I think I couldd die after something like that. What a blessed woman to have those students and blessed students to have that teacher. AMAZING!!!
Always nice when former students remember you.
retired music teacher here and it was moments like this and interactions with former students that made it all worthwhile. Not a profession for everyone and you don't get rich (money wise) but I am rich in memories and everlasting friendships. It is a marvelous feeling when they come back to you and say you are the reason I am the person that I am today. No way to describe the feeling you have hearing that. Great job Zola!
To know that her passion ignited a fire. To see the passion return what a beautiful honor
That's one of the most moving tributes I have ever seen and heard in my 61 years!!! Wow!! That teacher was and is truly loved and respected. Can't thank u all enough for raising our spirits.Anyone who sees this tribute will most certainly feel the impact of the message sent.🙂🙂😊😊🤗🤗.
you when a teacher makes a great impact with things like this, Im in tears too, such a beautiful tribute.
This is the best audio quality video I have ever heard in UA-cam
Oh how we,the viewer, enjoy these special tribute video clips!! They are very inspiring and reflect the spirit of humanity. Thank u for these reminders of love and respect.Love from Canada.
She is the best!!! I took 4 years of choir with her. She is so sweet and encouraging and has the power to make EVERYONE feel needed, loved and included. Ms J is a GEM!
Really sweet! Especially enjoyed the little special notes “I’m a teacher...” “we ❤️ U.” Great way to thank a teacher. In spite of everything they are unsung heroes!
Oh that is gorgeous and says it all. Barbara Silberg, Director; The West Los Angeles Children's Choir
Thank you for including a few of Ms. Jensen's reactions. As beautiful as the singers' voices.
As a teacher I was touched
.. I cried too... so amazing! 😭😭😭
Many ways to say thanks, this one was perfect , bravo
Glad you liked it!
@@JonesCinema Hey, I'm in need of something to use for a virtual choir. What did you use? Thanks!
@@hannahdewert Hey, sorry. Just saw this! We used Adobe Premier Pro and After Effects.
@@JonesCinema No worries!! Is it free?
This is the best version of this song I've heard!!!
For generations to have come together shows how special she really is
Wow she did a good job they sound so good beautiful singers
This display of appreciation is one of the most important things you, even as an individual, can show someone. That they made a difference, that they are important, gives a person a feeling of purpose. Very well done!
Oh it would be so awesome if my former choir members could do this for our high school choir director...she was also my choir director in junior high!! I’ve known Mrs. Purdy since I was a little girl. She’s still the choir director at my old high school...they’ve since built a performing arts center & dedicated it to her!!
All the high school sweethearts wow.
Wow this brought tears to my eyes. So wonderfully sung! Well done. A beautiful tribute for her to see and feel on this side of life. Bravo! 👏🏾 from 🇬🇧
Ms.j are you are greatest teacher and I wish I could enjoy your choir

AWESOME! I love it! It's so nice to know so many people decided to LOVE and HONOR! Congratulations on bringing JOY to your teacher and all of us who are blessed to see and hear it unfold.

@@michaelrainone296 Michael! Thank you! Yes, kindness is important. Thanks for all the great words about USA and how your AWESOME Mom worked here for 40+ years! 💜 That's amazing!
We are going through a tough time here in the USA, but with GOD all things are possible, so I pray for wisdom, unity and peace.
My brother and I started a Christian ministry 8 1/2 years ago. We sing, dance, perform skits, spoken Word, preach Gods Word, set up free concerts and tour wherever we are called! We minister and give concerts at youth detention centers and prisons. (Its heart breaking to see 11-18 year olds in BIG trouble!) We cook for and serve the homeless and needy, share clothes, shoes and toiletries with them, find jobs, housing, rehab and counseling for many who live on the streets. It's always busy. We enjoy what we do. GOD HAS BLESSED US! Many ministries stopped serving due to Covid scare but we never did. We just figured out the safest way to serve everyone so those who are hungry can have a hot meal. We stand near our bus and vehicles and pack what they need... and I walk to a small table across the parking lot and place a hot meal, dessert, drink and items they need in a bag that's placed in a basket on the table. Then I walk back to our spot as each individual walks into the parking lot, one by one to take their bags and exit. We continue to serve until everyone is fed. I walk back and forth everytime. (Good exercise, lol) I cook mostly by myself but I have three people who help me to cook sometimes. We cook for up to 400 people each week!!! The smallest group is about 60 people. I also drive around and share food, clothes, blankets, and toiletries to others who are outdoors. Many people call us or ask for food and goods on our website. We deliver. It's a wonderful feeling to serve. I love being the HANDS AND FEET of Christ! All week long, we buy items we need, and pick up any donations from a couple of stores but mostly we pay for everything ourselves. God provides a way every time. When we spend our own money each week, God replenishes it somehow. He is AMAZING like that.
Well, sorry this is sooo long. I just wanted to share a bit with you. The virus has stopped so much around here. You must have the same challenges as we do. All of my businesses are shut down for now. I own a few. I own a dance business. I teach all ages, and all abilities to dance. Some dancers are in wheelchairs, some are deaf and blind, some use walkers and canes..and others dance at the highest of abilities! I miss dancing and teaching since March! I will share my other businesses next time. My most FAVORITE thing to do is homeschool my son! He is our BLESSING FROM ABOVE! He is older now but we work together each day.
May GOD bless you and keep you safe and healthy. May God bless your loved ones too.
Have a "GOD" day!
Peace, Lynne 🍃💜🍃
@@michaelrainone296 HAPPY THANKSGIVING MICHAEL! God bless you!
Peace, Lynne 🍃🧡🍃
That is wonderful!
There are teachers, and then there are teachers we will never forget. Teachers who would do anything for us, so we do everything for them.
This is a beautiful tribute, and a brilliant idea.
Miss J, you are clearly amazing, if your students care enough to do this for you.
I would also like to shout out to my amazing choir teacher, Mr Smart. He is brilliant and kind and I have learned so much, even with distance learning.
Love to all the amazing teachers and everyone who reads this. 💙
This just hit the recommendations. Great job everyone. Teachers seriously deserve more than they think. The stress some go through especially now; we all need to be empathetic and understanding to one another. That’s why this is so beautiful. In a world where we are all separated, we have moments where we are brought together by the simple ideal of love. As a student, I’m proud of you all.
Wow !!! So touching !!!
Wow!!!
That is one of the most if not THE most beautiful things I’ve ever seen. Some teachers leave you memories of how great they were just like this beautiful teacher. Other teachers leave you memories of how worthless they made you feel! Like being told by your Deputy headmaster, Mr Dalton, to “ get back in the trash bins, that’s where you belong “.
Aww this brought me in tears for how beautiful and grateful this video is
I was crying before I hit play! What a beautiful way to appreciate Zola and use this technology!
This sounds magical..
What a lovely way to say thank you to a special teacher.. thus us awesome.. I got emotional too... very respectful and touching...

This is the sweetest love letter to a teacher.
Absolutely incredibly amazing!!!
That was the best teacher appreciation I've ever seen!!!🥰🤩
This was so beautiful and brought me to tears. First of all because of the amazing thing you guys did for your teacher and secondly because I couldn't sing with my choir for 9 month now due to Covid and I miss them (and the music) so much.
It's so touching. These students did a great job in honoring their teacher. This teacher indeed change so many lives. God bless them all!
Wonderful choir singers! Lovely surprise! Tears in my eyes!
Amazing work!! Beautifully done!! Congratulations to all the singers, the conductor, and whoever edited the video and sound together. Much respect. Special props to the woman with the "I'm a teacher because of you" sign and to the woman feeding her baby while singing! 💜✊🏼
What a wonderful tribute !!!
The 14 people who pit thumbs down needs some help, this is so sweet
Why can’t I sound this good when I use my phone and headphone microphone to record
Beautiful! ♥️
Is there a follow up video with reactions from Mrs. J and the choir?
❤ 👏👏👏
I wish I had a teacher like her that affected me in a good way but this is my last year in high school and I guess I am one of the unlucky ones.
Somebody get this teacher on Ellen!!
What song did they sing?
