So I'm trying to make a SIMPIT using this really comfortable recliner I have. Do you have any recommendations on how to dolly it? I'm trying to think out of way to put it on rails of some sort with a lever for locking it in place so I can scoot n and out from underneath the desk.
Not sure how available it is for you.
But the slide rails from under the seat of pickup truck driver or passenger seat might be a good start. Once you get them detached from the seat, you can do some unique things with them. They can be very versatile to work with.
Plus the locking system is already there for you. Likely to out last you.
Trick is finding a set that isn't packed with old coffee, sun flower seeds, mud, hair, or anything else that puts fear in your eyes.
