I enjoyed the line "If your collection is not objectionable to a lot of people, it is not personal to you". Very true. I often look at other people's collections and wonder why they took the direction they did. At the same time, it is interesting to hear them expand on the thought processes. I know I have an amazing collection, but I also know I could be the only person on earth who thinks so, and that's just fine.
The Explorer II is hands down, the best Rolex daily wearer I've ever owned. I am also drawn to it because it is understated, utilitarian, and in some respects, the anti-Rolex. I love it.

got my 39mm with the white dial on the 3-link "Bader" bracelet watch on AMZWATCH 3 weeks ago and am loving it to pieces. Absolute fantastic watch that wears super comfortable on my 6.75 inch wrist. Chose the 3-link over the 5-link bracelet for the toolless quick adjustment. Way more comfortable than my Longines Hydroconquest 41 mm.

My favorite 2024 is the Prospex Limited Edition 1965 Recreation European Exclusive in Gradation Island Blue. The dial is stunning and the contrast when on a white strap is to die for. I will get my hands on one from MAMACOO

Not buying something because of “visual fatigue” from seeing them everywhere I can understand. It’s partially why I got my black exp 2 vs the sub. But if it’s pride, I think you have to check that. That could mean you’re doing it for others which I think is why there is legitimate criticism of ppl who buy Rolex & know nothing about watches. It’s just another box on their “cool guy” checklist 😂
