    It was big mistake that didn't use eye camera for setting scene and not using realistic materials and very important is using using dome light is very important. I've try very hard how could see on my render the reflection of material or objects on the scene thanks for the help on your video

    I always set up the things well but never give me the best rendering results? Why
    Having a low gpu does effect on my rendering?

    • @SketchUpSchool
      @SketchUpSchool  2 роки тому

      Having a less powerful GPU will not affect the result - it might just make the result take longer to render. I recommend you take a look at our V-Ray for SketchUp rendering course which outlines step-by-step how to get the best rendering results. You can access the course as part of our Video Course Library here: www.sketchupschool.com/video-course-library

  • @maddoctor99
    @maddoctor99 3 роки тому

    These videos are really well explained and presented and I definitely picked up a few tips - thanks! However all of the final renders we see in the video (and especially on your website) are far from photorealistic so I’m very hesitant to pull the trigger, particularly as I can’t find a list of the individual class topics or examples of the quality of render your students are eventually able to produce. Even the “presentation images” render looks very artificial and ALL of the images in the “Vray on a deadline” look like scenes from those hidden object games: quite cartoony and flat. I’d hoped to find videos of genuinely realistic renders, particularly as you briefly touch on render elements and a few other advanced topics that hint that you know the process fairly well.

    • @SketchUpSchool
      @SketchUpSchool  3 роки тому

      In many cases, we are showing images of renderings at a particular step in the process to give a more honest look at what things look like at various stages along the way. But you make a great point: We should certainly do a better job of showing-off the finished product to give you an idea of what's possible. We will do more of that in future videos (and appreciate your feedback).
      In the courses on our website, we teach students everything they need to know to create genuinely realistic renderings. Again, we show images that represent the works-in-progress (and should do a better job of showcasing what's possible). One note: We are in the middle of updating our courses for V-Ray 5 for SketchUp, so you'll likely see quite a few changes once those updates are published to the site (and we begin adding V-Ray 5 related videos to our channel here). If you'd like to be notified when the V-Ray 5 course updates are ready, send a message to team@sketchupschool.com and we'll add you to the list.
