Watched on the replay! Great show and lots of well said stuff in the first and back half👌! BW Chicago is something I would like to experience sometime. Personally I think holding pre-sales this early is a turn off. I have no doubt that it is amazing to go to. But 10 months early is hell of a planning to go through. I have traveled around to comic cons where celebrities go to. And those hotel ticket packages usually open 4-6 months before the convention actually happens. I am sure I am not the only one with this complaint out there. But this puts BWC up with SDCC, which shouldn’t be the case, and makes this so artificially hyped up. This is outrageous and should be considered for future BWC. If I have to go through as much of a headache to plan and go to this. I would like to be shaking hands with Ewan McGregor, Chris Evans, or some celebrity at any caliber. Then have the chance to get a LEGO set autographed by them.
@@StudtasticStudios we hear you but pls know this isn't remotely artificial in nature. The reality is that hotel can and will sell rooms surrounding the event, eliminating the possibility of folks wanting to stay the full week. To remind everyone, you don't have to pay for the room you just have to reserve it with a one night authorization that falls off a few days later. That said, Mark listens and if there's a way to do this differently in the future I'm sure he will try. Also, having attended SDCC or other huge cons/events, the hotel is generally the toughest, most expensive part after flights.
@@ACOB I am not doubting that at all. The hotel will definitely thrive off of this event. But 10 months early is just crazy for me. I know the hype around this event is very real. But in my neck of the woods, the people I have talked with. The fact of the matter is, there is a selection of people that think it is very artificial hype. Because in the past few years most LEGO content creators have posted all about BWC. Like all at once. I believe what you are saying is true, I’ve watched your show for about 2 years now. But when something like that happens, people begin to speculate what’s actually happening. I personally would like to experience the largest LEGO convention at BWC. But planning it 10 months out is the killer for me. In the future I think there should be staggered releases for this or something. Because you will have the people who have gone for years to BWC who know what’s up, and jump right on it. For the people who are speculating on making the trek out there end up with the short end of the stick. Since you said you have attended other cons. Then you must know when I say the comic cons with celebrities. Make their hotel and badge packages 4-6 months out from it happening (might be different for SDCC and NYCC). If security is the issue there, LEGO has been in the rise of popularity. I’ve seen it myself at my local LEGO con. I don’t think that there is an issue with people attending. It is just gonna keep rising. I am not sure why the hotel and badge signs ups are made available this early is all with considering all similar conventions across the nation.
My Friends uncle played Sloth. RIP John.
Great show ❤ I vote for CPA to be on each week 😀 he just brings a Sean like calmness to proceedings

You can hardly even hear your guest.
I'm so freaking excited for The Goonies set! I'm hoping it doesn't break the bank but it's a huge set.
We are hoping no more than $300! All depends what compromises are made with the final design.
Replay gang, let's go
