Good god....I missed listening to this yesterday...was caught up with life(can I still call it that?)....and so I go to sleep, I have a cold super stuffy. So throughout the night I wake up to blow my nose. Bottom line without leaving I whole chapter I have this dream, and then as I “awaken” I realize someone is still narrating the context of my dream. I can feel it coming through my
Crown, someone is communicating with me. Conk back out. Wake up...do my reading, and it was this....this lesson. I missed it yesterday and it was communicated to me in a dream. ....
20❤-I am determined to see. In the image of Christ. In His light. To see and to understand our one and the same but they do not involve perception in anyway.

"You are convinced that you can see. You are convinced that you know exactly what's going on in the world, and you are convinced that you know exactly what's right and what's wrong and what should be and what should not be, and you are arrogant in that belief, for you are not qualified to make that determination.
"I am determined to see" means that you are humble in your acknowledgment that you may not be able to see right now, and that is what will give you negative emotional feedback from your guidance system. If you are looking at something: a situation, person, place, thing or experience and you feel strong negative emotion, you are not seeing it correctly because you are coming at it from the ego's judgmental and narrow focus, your very limited experience and understanding of spirituality and spiritual principles, and assuming that you know what it means; and you do not. And that is what your negative emotional feedback will tell you: that you are looking at it incorrectly." Thank you, David.

Hello David - I experienced four miracles by using today’s idea for the day. I went for a job interview and started experiencing anxiety, which I recognised was an error of some sort in perception. As the workbook suggests, I then applied the idea for the day - ‘I am determined to see’. The anxiety began to significantly fade and I was able to see the person interviewing me as a holy brother. Then, on the way home, I made a pit stop and saw a sign saying ‘change is happening’. Further on my route home, a car pulled out in front of me that had a Christian fish symbol, which of course refers to Jesus Christ feeding the five thousand with a miracle, and finally, in the evening, I found my secondary school yearbook (from 2005) and saw a quote in the back by my housemaster which said something along the lines of ‘to err is human, to forgive is divinity’. Thank you so much. I’m looking forward to Lesson 21 tomorrow.

Question David,
I was practicing this lesson and I was standing next to my Parrot looking straight at her, I then said Holy Spirit are you there. Then this beautiful and wonderful feeling came rushing through me and I felt this connection, it’s hard to put into words. I’m not sure if that was true vision so I tried it again with my cat, again this beautiful wonderful feeling rushes through me extending out to the both of us. Loving the feeling I had to try again, this time I stood next to my sleeping husband and said, Christ are you really there? Again that beautiful wonderful feeling came again. Was that a experience of true vision or true connection.

So when I build a house (make something) to live in it means I tacitly believe in separation?
Well, then I guess I tacitly believe in separation-and rain, cold, and sunburns, and security from invasive critters and thieves.
Evidently, ACIM teachers believe in these things too, because I have never seen a teaching video that was recorded outdoors during a snowstorm.
On the other hand, I believe there is something in ACIM that I want, but do not have.
If that is true, then I’m going to find it. I don’t know of any better direction to go and I am compelled to go somewhere better than where I am now.
So I will just take the next step in front of me right now and take it in faith that what is not clear to me now will become clear as I proceed.

@@DavidHoffmeister I followed your link to "Living a Radical Life" yesterday in the mid-afternoon, and immediately started reading it.
I will spare you the dramatic description of my emotional reaction to reading the primary message about the illusory nature of the universe. I will just say that it is the right message at the right time.
I finally had to stop reading at 2:30 am last night to get some sleep. I am back to the book today. Nothing else matters right now.

advise please:
I did these lessons once before and wasn't sure if I should set a timer for the ones that ask that we do the exercise at certain times. I decided not to use any alarms but to just try and see if I had the willpower and determination to remember on my own. Most of the time I did not. What is your advice about this?
No Timer necessary. Give the lessons as much care and attention as you can. But do not judge any time you seem to forget.
I appreciate so much that you responded. Thank you. That's kind of the way I see it too. I don't really beat myself up for forgetting but i
just can't help feeling like I haven't followed directions properly when I suddenly realize that it's been 5 hours since I last remembered to repeat the idea for the day. But I also see the value that comes from realizing my lack of determination which leads to a desire for greater determination. Something I would not get if I was reminded by a timer. But I felt the need to ask an expert opinion about that so thanks a bunch.😬😇💖💪. I really appreciate you brother. I've been studying the course for the last 2 years on my own and as of now I'm still a solo practitioner so I feel so fortunate to have a "mighty companion" like you who I can ask for advice or clarification!
