I just received my PVI bottle today along with X-batch and Rush of Unicorns and very excited to smell it. I noticed PVI has a rotten pineapple smell in the opening which goes away after 5 minutes or so. I have not seen anybody mentioned this from reviewers on youtube. I went to Basenotes site and it seems like other people have had the same complaints. The x-batch and Rush of Unicorns are okay.
Just a quick tip: the reason why you cannot pick up the scent is because your olfactory receptors became saturated with the scent, it is called receptor accommodation. What you need to do is determine which scents you become quickly accommodated to, so that you do not expose your nose to them from up close so much, then you'll be able to enjoy the scents for much longer.
This company just contacted me as well. I wonder which one they are sending me. Hopefully it's this one because I'm pretty sold from your review lol. Great video as always man! :D

Based on this video, i finally got my bottle in the mail yesterday. Smell wise i actually prefer this over Aventus personally. It just seems overall juicier and nicer, but i have the same issue of going Anosmic to it.

No one responds to the website support email id. Mail after mail to support went unanswered and then suddenly i get a message from my credit card company that the order has been cancelled and the money refunded. No communication from PV about why this happened, or in fact that this has happened. The whole experience was like dealing with a fly-by-night operator - an email id that no one responds to, complete lack of communication and orders getting cancelled. You did mention that you've been in touch with the owners of the company so was wondering if you could throw some light on the above or gimme an email id for the company i could check with. One that someone actually responds to. Are these guys genuine or just another hit and miss clone factory? Any info would be most appreciated. Thanks a ton in advance. Mark.

Definitely want to try a sample of the Intense before I pull the trigger on it. Super itchy trigger finger right now... LOL!

Just got some samples and I think I will let them sit for a couple of months (seen a couple people say their fragrance didn’t smell right but once they let them sit for a while they matured and now smell great) just got PVI and Vanilla Intense and the pineapple note honestly smells sour/rotten 🤷♂️

I'm intrigued now and need to get my nose on the 3 versions. Would you prefer this Intense scent over Aventus? Ridiculous question but I have to ask.

i just received my 50ml PVI on 4-18-19 and the pineapple note smell way off, very pungent odor and rotten pineapple funk to it....extremely off putting, maybe it need some time to mature or aged but the way it is now that sh*t is unwearable, both of my Emperor EDP and Extrait do not have the rotten smell and they both are top notch, stay clear from the PVI.... Don't say i didn't warn ya! lol

Thanks for the review.. Ive only seen one other review on this from Cody, he didn't seem impressed.. According to him it was the same fragrance in smell and performance as the original... The thing I worry about is their consistency. Even within the original I have smelled different batches.. One batch smelled like pure pineapple juice straight up.. and another batch smelled more bergomot/citrus fresh.. I thought vibrant leather smelled a lot like the berg/citrus batch. I can't remember if you did a review on vibrant leather.
Haven't reviewed Vibrant Leather yet, but I do own it. There's a little bit of a difference between this and the original, but it's not a huge difference. Admittedly I haven't tried other bottles of the same fragrance so I'm not sure about consistency between batches. Basically, if you like the original you'll like this but like I said in the video it would probably be redundant unless you're just a huge PV fan.

Id get the intense simply if the performance was better.. some say the performance is the same, not sure , I need to get a sample of it ... I ordered sample of their 3 offerings last week and they arrived yesterday super quick considering I'm in the UK but the packaging was not sent from America it was a standard bubble wrap envelop and UK postage stamp an it so I can only imagine they send the stuff in bulk to a second party here in the UK. I love all 3 and really good performance let's just say I'm surrounded by a really nice fruity pineapple scent cloud bit too much at first but it drys down and become a bit easier an the nose. The packaging is top notch for samples.

Can you tell us what the size of the samples are? It's not listed on their site or i just couldn't find the ml amount. You would think that a new, small, niche house that's introducing a line would have a lower price point (like half of what they're charging) at the beginning because: 1) There's really not much distribution to B&M stores, so it's hard to test it before purchasing. 2) Since they're selling direct and avoiding distribution for the most part, why not charge the wholesale price that a distributor would normally pay since they're eliminating that additional markup? It seems a little absurd that a company is going to expect a fragrance to take off on positive reviews alone. Even the major players stick those fragrance cards in magazines and Sunday newspaper inserts along with handing out free samples in dept. stores to get their top shelf bottles off the ground.
I understand where you're coming from. The sample bottles are 5ml bottle size but I believe they're filled with about 3ml of fragrance if I had to estimate. You can't see the fill line because the label completely covers the bottle so I'm guessing based off of turning the bottle sideways and viewing through the bottom.
Thanks for the information. At about 89¢ per ml after discount coupon for the sample set, it was worth it as that's just a little more than what the regular bottles are pro-rated. Unfortunately the added $6.40 shipping for those three little bottles of 9 ml worth of fragrance put the kibosh on my order.

I worked in an arcade for years and played fighting games and DDR religiously. I did play Pump It Up and got good at that too, it's way more difficult than DDR in my opinion. Some of those songs were insanely hard.
Guessing one of those fighters was Marvel Vs Capcom 2 or Tekkan? If your MVC2 is anything like your DDR I don't want any of that lol. Well nice man, you for sure still got it hahaha... I don't think many of your viewers know how hard it is to AA even a fairly easy song, let a alone a hard song espcially with no speed mods. Yeah it was MvC2 and Soul Calibur 2 for the most part. We had a bunch of Tekken cabinets but I never got into Tekken as much as the other two. I played Street Fighter 3 3rd Strike some but I was mediocre at that one.

Nothing special here! Just received a big bottle of Emporer and this is not close to Aventus. Sure buy this for whenever and save Aventus for special occasions. I also contacted parfums vintage and told them this Emperor lasted only 2 hours and they replied buy samples first, Really!? Lol this place is a joke, get Aventus if you want quality, but if you are a fake Rolex kind of guy go with this stuff.
I've been banned from purchasing from parfums vintage because of my honesty with them. I purchased PVI and the opening was a burst of fruity pineapple and the dry down was insane. Best compliments I've ever had. I then purchased another bottle 6months later and it DID NOT HAVE THAT fruity pineapple opening like the first bottle. Instead it smelt like pollen. And the dry down wasn't the same. I complained to parfums vintage and they brushed me off. I then purchased emperor edp and after 15mins the scent dissapeared off my skin. Their batches are inconsistent and weak. Apart from the very first one I bought 2 years ago. It's ashame they can't keep the consistency. The formula has definetly changed and what is being mentioned in this video I agree with 100%

I think the person creating this has no professional experience and that's not taking anything away from that person. the fragrances seems to be a success wether you see it as a clone or a stand alone. however I do think they should try to go away from this aventus genre now. quit when you're at the top. I haven't tried them but that's what my brain tells me :)

Heard youd had to refrigerate pvi for a while to remove the bad scent

Where to buy creed and bond for good price
You don't get any smokiness? I know it may be light but the mossy birch in the dry down is excellent. There is a smoky nuance that is sublime

Not very much, no. Noir has a bit more smokiness but this is much, much lighter on that note just like normal Pineapple Vintage is.

I haven't smelled man in black but for pure Havane it smells like pure malt(opening) with a background of cigars

I myself have also played DDR for years though I was never good at perfect attack, which you seem to be really good at. 9 and 10 step heavy is about the best I can do myself, and a bit lower doing heavy doubles

I worked in an arcade for years and played fighting games and DDR religiously. I did play Pump It Up and got good at that too, it's way more difficult than DDR in my opinion. Some of those songs were insanely hard.
Guessing one of those fighters was Marvel Vs Capcom 2 or Tekkan? If your MVC2 is anything like your DDR I don't want any of that lol. Well nice man, you for sure still got it hahaha... I don't think many of your viewers know how hard it is to AA even a fairly easy song, let a alone a hard song espcially with no speed mods. Maybe one day you can show your viewers some of your doubles xD. Keep it up man!
Yeah it was MvC2 and Soul Calibur 2 for the most part. We had a bunch of Tekken cabinets but I never got into Tekken as much as the other two. I played Street Fighter 3 3rd Strike some but I was mediocre at that one.
I go to Nashville every couple months or so for business so I'm out that way a number of times each year. Technically my business office is based out of Nashville even though I live in the NE corner of the state.

Gents Scents During the check they didn't give a option to apply the code, they charged the full amount. I contacted them about it, so far no reply.

Nothing special here! Just received a big bottle of Emporer and this is not close to Aventus. Sure buy this for whenever and save Aventus for special occasions. I also contacted parfums vintage and told them this Emperor lasted only 2 hours and they replied buy samples first, Really!? Lol this place is a joke, get Aventus if you want quality, but if you are a fake Rolex kind of guy go with this stuff.
I've been banned from purchasing from parfums vintage because of my honesty with them. I purchased PVI and the opening was a burst of fruity pineapple and the dry down was insane. Best compliments I've ever had. I then purchased another bottle 6months later and it DID NOT HAVE THAT fruity pineapple opening like the first bottle. Instead it smelt like pollen. And the dry down wasn't the same. I complained to parfums vintage and they brushed me off. I then purchased emperor edp and after 15mins the scent dissapeared off my skin. Their batches are inconsistent and weak. Apart from the very first one I bought 2 years ago. It's ashame they can't keep the consistency. The formula has definetly changed and what is being mentioned in this video I agree with 100%
Looking forward to trying this one as I love Pineapple Vintage but the longevity was poor on me. Thanks for the giveaway.

Are they planning a noir intense? I would think that would be in their pipeline. I actually really like the original and keep flipping on which one I like more between noir and classic.

PVI is better overall if cost is no option, otherwise FD.
thanks for the review. I think the person creating this has no professional experience and that's not taking anything away from that person. the fragrances seems to be a success wether you see it as a clone or a stand alone. however I do think they should try to go away from this aventus genre now. quit when you're at the top. I haven't tried them but that's what my brain tells me :)
