    hey Shela i hope you're good. I am planning on writing all 4 board exam papers next year 2025 in the first intake. and i started studying since October and even now i am still at it. but sometimes i feel like i am not getting anywhere knowledge wise. and one thing i know i really don't want to fail a single paper and i know people failing board exams more than once and not passing the board exams can be a huge blockade. i am reaching out to you to please help me to prepare for the board exams in the best way possible because i just want straight passes and no oral. PLEASE!!!!!!

    Getting a distinction for Paper 3 wow well done 👏🏾 SBWL😮
    I am writing in August and I am attempting all 4 at once

      I wish you the very very best of luck with your papers. You’re now knocking at the door of Admission.
      The key to passing all 4 is really taking the time to prep for them. Maximise on your prep and you’ll go from “SBWL” to “I DID IT” 💯💪🏽🙌🏾

      @@shelateffo I have started preparing
      I did really really well with Paper 2 and 4 at law school because I read the guides and did board exam past papers.I have prepared for court procedures and this week I am doing attorneys practice(no idea why there’s so much contract law in that paper 😭).
      The plan is to do wills and estates next month
      Then use the whole of August just to revise

    Such an informative video🙌 I wanted to ask, how long do you have to write the exams after articles? Is there a cut-off date, eg. 2 years post articles?

      Thank you so much for watching ✨🌺 there’s nothing on paper regulating that for now!

      And yes, you NEED to do do more past papers💯 there’s no point in cramming content if you don’t know how to accurately apply it to questions. So past papers are the way to go 😉💯
      Best of luck with the exams 😁

    Please can a foreigner sit for this exam? I'm aware foreigners can't practice. I'm from Ghana.

    • @shelateffo
      @shelateffo  Рік тому

      In terms of the Legal Practice Act, foreigners need to qualify as legal practitioners in South Africa before being able to practice as such. And you can’t qualify without writing the exams so yes, it means you can. Further requirements are listen on the Legal Practice Council website ie being a permanent resident of South Africa / the requirements specific for people of your country who want to practice in South Africa ☺️
