- Long time back, somewhere in the year 1993 or so, i had published a research article in "The Astrological Magazine", for which I received a handwritten letter from Dr. B V Raman. Those days I had plenty of time to do research on various topics. In this video I have taken up an important point from the article for discussion. In the next part, I will complete the discussion about Navamsa - They Key to Marriage.

In the second case, Saturn(MD) and Rahu (AD) is 6-8 to each other in Navmsha
Will it apply to all the Maha-Antar Dasha if the planets are 6-8 to each other irrespective of the fact that they are Benefic in the D-1 chart
Also what if someone has no planets in 6,8 and 12 in D-9 chart

In my observation, when moon is in Capricorn and Aquarius sign , events related to Saturn (F & P) happen if a person is in Sade saati or Saturn Dasha/bhukti. Kindly reply if you have observed the same to confirm because in the video you have mentioned sun in Capricorn and Aquarius as SDT but have not said about Moon. Thanks and Regards.

Could we say that Venus Sun yoga in NV lagn is bad for relationship because of a sort of spiritual combustion because it could happen in D9 even if no combustion and even when Venus is far away from Sun in Rasi ? Is it best or worst in sun nvm or Venus navamsa ? What difference must we take into account between it happening in Taurus and Libra or is the same anyway ?
Is there a remedy for improving happiness with such a combination burning to the ground the navamsa marital signification ?

Forgot to add the full birth details in my previous comment. April 6th, 1954, 4-32 AM, Mysore. Current dasa is Saturn - Sun. They are 6/8 in the D-1 and in 2/12 in D-9. The antardasa lord Sun is in the 11th in D-9 while the dasa lord Saturn is in the 12th in D-9. In D-1, Saturn is in the 9th in Libra and Sun is in the 2nd in Pisces.
Query is whether the break of marriage can be due to death of partner or is it necessarily divorce only.

Sir, in d9 chart do you consider from moon or lagna placement ?
Sir, why should we count in Navamsa the same way as we do in the Rasi chart? Rasi chart represents the position of planets in the sky. But Navamsa is a derivative of the rasi chart and I am not feeling convinced of counting from ascendant in the Navamsa Chart. Even the term Vargoththama means "the best of division of a planet"... So I feel the Navamsa chart can be seen as in which Rasi the planet falls in the Navamsa chart after the Division and also with whom (conjunction of planets). On the whole I feel Navamsa can be used to see in which Rasi and with what planet from the Rashi Chart a planet has fallen. What is your opinion sir?

There one stange thing that I observed was in close relative chart four planets were debilitated still her marriage was pretty good apart from few hiccups it made me wonder always but the thing is her debilitated planet was aspected by another delitated planet in the house of there exaltation so here mars in cancer was aspected by Jupiter in Capricorn and Mercury in Pisces was aspected aspected by venus in Virgo ...so does that cancel the debilitation of planets ..🙏

This may sound like a dumb question, but does the Navamsa chart actually describe the person's spouse? In other words, is it a Rasi chart of the person's spouse? Or is the Navamsa simply a more refined description of the person's overall fortune, and the 7th house/lord in the Navamsa is the spouse?

Good Evening Sir , Once the native has gone through the punishment(s) for a bad Karma (sin) (pertaining to a particular Planet, in a specific antar-dasha of the Planet) committed by him/her - does he/she have to go through the same punishment again(during the next antar-dasha of the same Planet ?
It depends a lot on whether the person has learnt the lesson. Sometimes people say once bitten is twice shy. Some never learn. So there is no guarantee that an event may not repeat. How do you explain the fact that one person has gone through 3 painful divorces. I know a person who had severe putradosha and lost all the 3 children one by one spread across years. However if the person has gone through a RADICAL CHANGE, a SUDDEN TRANSFORMATION based on the lesson, then such events happen only once.
My partner has Jupiter, sun,Mercury, Saturn in 6th house in virgo ( Aries-- Navamsa ascendant), Mars,venus& moon in cancer, ketu in 2nd house.
It's a troubled marriage almost since the beginning.
Try to sort it out genuinely but if nothing works then leave it to fate.

Sir, Do we need to see Bhav Chalit position of planet or only Rasi,Navamsa. Please advise as to what method you consider for Bhav Chalit as I have found more than 2 different methods of calculations for Bhav Chalit
In India we have only 2 methods. One is equal house (which I follow), the other one is Sripathi system - the unequal house which tallies with Astronomy.

Definitely yes. I used to connect that also. Also it is better to connect the remedies to the problem one has in life even without reference to the horoscope. So those who disbelieve in God and Astrology can use that method.

is it true that if a planet placed in the 6th or 8 th or 12 th house in birth chart but same planet exalted in navamsa gives bad results ? because navamsa gives what is promised in the birth chart. I mean to say planets placed in dusthana houses in birth chart being in debelitated navamsa is considered good then it has no power to do much harm and vice versa. Is it true ?
Whenever a graha is exalted in Navamsa it gets better. Converse is also true.

@Gourav Kumar Goswami No great astrologers from North India explain chart using South Indian style for benefit of South Indians. So if you are interested, learn South Indian Chart Style.
Sir what are the effects if in rasi chart planets are strong in rasi chart and debilated in the navamsa.
This is not good. There is an indication of drop of luck in important spheres of life during the period of the planet Neecha in Navamsa but if the said planet is well placed in Rasi Chart and Bhava Chart (meaning unafflicated and in Kendra or Trikona or Labha there is no need to worry. In other situations you may need to do the remedies.

We in Assam use the East Indian Chart (Bengali style), but still I could easily understand the South Indian Chart. The only different thing that the South Indians do is rotate the planets in Clockwise direction. The other things seems to be the same.

Yes. Definitely. In all the divisional charts, navamsa, dasamsa, saptamsa etc etc you should see OWN SIGN, EXALT, DEBIL, MOOLATRIKONA etc. This is stated by Maharishi Parasara.

I too possess venus in pisces ( vargottam ) in mercurial ascendant, however purity of love as well as romance is totally absent , certainly, venus's exalted position and attraction of romance / pure unconditional love due to dominance of venus is simply a myth 🤷♂️🧐🤫
From what i have observed you can make 80% of marriage prediction alone from your birth chart no needed for navamsa in fact whenever i see the pattern in Navamsa for marriage it never fits in so always see marriage prediction from your lagna not navamsa.
You are right to a great extent. In fact what you said is what I teach in class. Navamsa is the finer aspect of marriage. The Rasi Chart and Bhava Chart is superior always. Maharishi Parasara clearly mentions in BPHS that from Navamsa you can know more about marriage.

Navamsa is never the marriage chart it reads to know about the fine tuning of your personality and nature at depth level.
