I first watched kenichi when I was 12 and I'm 22 turning 23 really soon. This series is very important to me especially so back then. Kenichi showed me that you can be kind and strong and I live my life with that lesson deep in my heart.
Each time I hear this at the end of Kenichi, I don't skip it or go to the next next. I just want to hear it to the end. Brings tears to my eyes. I love this song.
I tried this at night when I was driving back home alone on the freeway after a great night of hanging out with friends. And lemme tell you, I agree with your statement 100%. It really does hit different when you’re driving!
i have a tradition to watch Kenichi every 2-3 years. Not because i force myself to but because i always have an urge to watch this masterpiece again 😂 Right now i’m trying to get my sibling to watch it with me because he practices martial arts and i was like omg you will like it i promiseeee 😅
this anime is complete with comedy, ecchi, discipline, hard work,student teacher and family bond. true friendship, oh a little harem, and romance,development in skills and ability, BTW it gets serious after the first season i will not spoil it to those who havent read the manga :D, if you want to feel that old school feeling of fighting for what you believe in then this is the anime for you, BE WARNED YOU'LL LOL ALOT WHEN WATCHING THIS OH AND YOU STILL LOL EVEN READING THE MANGA PROMISE :D
Shout out to the first anime to inspire me to get into calisthenics at the age of 15( 28 at the time of writing this). True, Dragonball was a great inspiration but this show more relatable as I had gym trainers for different regiments, flexibility, strength and endurance. Plus this song encapsulates so much of my youth, both the good and the bad, which I'm grateful for as it made me who I am. Here's to yall on your journeys in life! 🌟🙌🏾

Manga is still going, i think there's more to it than just the 8 fists of ragnarok. Although it did seem like those 8 fists were so superior as Kenichi struggled so hard fighting the weakest fist, and then when he handled Odin, he still had problems. Manga still going though, personally i hope Him and Miu get together.

season 1 and 2 were those 50 episodes. There were also 3 OVA episodes. Manga is currently still going its at 510 chapter and it is very very awesome.
