I had ordered it in Amazon and had to return it due to foul stink coming from its honeycomb pads. Product was actually non returnable but replaceable in 10 days, but Amazon seller had only one unit left and they were forced to take a return and refund. Beware of ordering online when it says 'Only 1 unit left' - It felt like they sent us already used and returned product as the cooler had few visible scars, scratches and marks.
You can just change the honeycomb comb if it is the problem
Same honeycomb smell I also felt last year when I first use, but 3 to 4 day use all smell will disappear. No problem.
it was not faulty every cooler will give smell for 2 3 days due to unexposed material .. it's normal

Don't buy this cooler. Duniya ka sabse bekar cooler hai. Air flow to na ke barabar hai. Bilkul bed ke pass lagana padta hai.. or safocation itni Jada karta hai..kisi ka dam gut jaye..is se 100 darzan iron ka khatan ka coolar hai yo 5000/6000 ka AA jata hai yeh 13500 liya tha..par batatee haue bhi saram aati hai..agar kisi ka lene ka Mann bhi kare to phele 2 din check karna chala ke phir Lena Verna itna pachtaoge ki jiska andaza bhi nahi hoga...

Detailed review after using for 3 years
Change honeycomb every 2 years
Make sure room has good ventilation
Change the capacitor every 2 to 3 years or else fan speed will be less.
It has a good ice chamber so the cooling is very nice.
I am currently using in Gurgaon 43 Celsius temperature and let me tell you I don’t feel like using AC.
Make sure to clean the outer coverings once every 2 weeks.
It has been a great investment so far.
Its air throw is very slow
It does not chill the room

Last yr. I purchased similiar type of crompton cooler from a shop in Abids, hyderabad. Water pump got problem - replaced with new one for Rs. 450/- and 300/- Rs. service charges. Water also leaking side door. No proper cooling & not satisfed with the product model: Cool Breeze DAC 40.

Recently i have purchased this cooler and i full filled the tank after that i kept it on full night but the next day the water is showing as same as before i checked the pump it is sounding properly..
What should i do to make it more cool cuz I don’t think it is cooling as per my expectations 😢
If water droplets not coming with air flow, it may be a internal problem. U can contact with brand customer care regarding this problem.
Apart from cooling issue, u can try ice or cold water and try to fixed the cooler infront of open window for more cooling. Hope it works for u. Thank you.
