Hello! I just bought my Giant gourami earlier and it's around 3 inches big. How are you feeding your gourami when it's still small? Are you feeding them the same types of food but just cutting it small for it to fit in their mouth?

Cut the boiled vegetables into small pieces and feed them to your 3 inch gourami twice a week. Also, bloodworms can be fed to gourami at least once a week. When bloodworms are not available, earthworms can be cut into small pieces and fed to the gourami. Feed the fish a protein-rich "fish food" twice a day (morning & evening). Don't feed the fish at that time if boiled vegetables and worms are given.Remember, don't overfeed your fish.

Mine lived off a staple of lettuce , frozen krill and bloodworm but he was greedy enough to eat even the algae wafers for his tankmate plecostomus . Eventually grew to a size of a medium dog and had to pawn him off to a local garden centre

i have GIANT GOURAMI red eye.. it will eat anything. colocassia leaf and any flowers and beef its favourite.. its 2 years old and his size 18.5 inches

Pellets have all the vitamins and nutrients that are not in the fresh food. Your fishes diet should be revolved around a good pellet. And complimented with good fresh foods.

I will feed vegetables and fruits to my giant gourami for a week. Next week I will be feeding small fishs to my giant gourami.

lol funny right this fish. mine is 2 years old. 1 ft long. her diet is fresh tomatoe, orange, green soft nuts, and cricket for the treats (sometime only) very aggressive. hardly to find a tank mates for her.
my two giant gourami need to be separated by a divider, else fight like mad.

Awesome. Out of those 4 foods, my fish only likes Cilantro and fish food. I tried feeding him dried shrimp, but he didn't eat those at all.. 🙂

I have 54 pcs (4 to 5 inch /10.5 cm) i feed them papaya, colocassia leaves, cabage.. some letuce, and pellets. I love having them..
Awesome. Boiled beans and boiled boneless chicken can also be fed. Cut it into small pieces and give to the fish.✌
