This is a description of the video that I can fill with keywords to boost my SEO. In this video I am playing ULTRAKILL, a VR game that is not available on the oculus quest 2, meta quest pro but is available on most pcvr headsets. This was a very insane clip filled with funny moments compilation. ULTRAKILL is similar to other VR shooters such as Contractors, Pavlov, BoneLab or Boneworks. Source: Trust me; I used to have atrocious sense of timing so parrying wasn't an option for me when I first fought him.
I just didnt know you could parry till after I "beat" the game

I beat minos with no parry it was hell 37 minutes of no sugar coating from minos first run

As someone that literally never gets motion sick while playing vr, and loves ULTRAKILL. I see this as an absolute win.

the one time i got motion sick in VR was being in the cab in BoneLab. funnily enough, I also get violently ill when sitting in the backseat of ANY vehicle. go figure right? Figured VR would be different enough but nope. Once I realized, "Shit right I'm in vr this shouldnt be bugging me", 5 seconds later I was no longer having the problem. Turns out I was so immersed that my brain overrode my inner ear and made me motion sick.

quick thing: the reason melee didn't work is because how it works is that the mod sends key inputs to the game, and swinging your arm doesnt tell the game "do melee", it tells "press F". so you have to set your keys to default.
Are you playing on older version of the mod since there is no arms?
I played the pre release version with full body IK and I can parry just fine.
You hold left trigger and PUNCH.
You can adjust the punch speed needed in config.

ok while ultrakill works surprisingly well as a VR game i still think it will work flawlessly as a Full dive VR game when we have the technology for it
also parrying totally works you have to hold left trigger and physically punch to do it and it feels so good especially parrying corpse king minos's punches

You need to use a vr treadmill with this now and complete the whole game with it
I would like to see more ghosts of tabor personally since I've been really enjoying it, but 2 minutes into this and it already has lots of action, you are also REALLY skilled, and I love your content, keep it up!
This actually looks so fun. I'm now really actually hoping for an official VR mode after the game is all finished, with proper controls, punching, parrying, etc.
If VR becomes affordable, gamers will be super soldiers. The fact that you can *consistently* hit coinshots in VR is proof.

Since there was a vr port of [that one new blood game that i forget the name of] got a vr port, and some guy made a review asking for a dusk and ultrakill vr and dave [new blood dude im pretty sure] said 'IGHT BET.' So getting a official ultrakill vr port/DLC is possible [and i'd pay for it if they charge bc that sounds cool as fuck.}
Amid Evil is the game you were thinking of, and the VR port of it is incredible. I'm playing through both the flatscreen and VR versions, exploring the level in VR and mastering the combat on flatscreen. It's such a fun experience! I'm hyped to see what other VR titles New Blood ends up making!

idk if your punching is the same as mine in vr (i use quest 2 connected to pc using airlink) but try holding the trigger and do the punch motion it should work

Here's a tip : don't say all of these "I can't parry" and try to swing the arm when u hold the trigger on left controller.

I never get motion sick while playing VR, and I say close to ultrakill fast pace is Robo Recall since it requires you keep moving sometimes

And straight up demon mode. But when they're combined, they get to the mode that I always have on chaotic mode.

Bam, the reason punching didn't work is because you needed to use the games default controls.
You can melee punch but it takes a while to understand in vr and parrydoss work
To punch on vr you have to thrust your left controller forwards
bro I learned how to play without parrying for some reason and somehow it just works

Whatever top left trigger is for you on your headset controllers, hold it down and punch irl. At least thats how I figured out you could parry.
