The Rabab is showing up more and more everywhere, and I couldn't be happier! I began falling in love with the people and culture of Afghanistan about 40 years ago when studying Music Composition and Comparative Religion. I had only begun to learn about this magnificent country when the Russian tanks began rolling in,and I have been carrying a torch in my heart ever since. It seemed around 2010 that we had turned a corner, but now the rebirth of Afghan music - let alone peace and safety, is hanging by a thread still. I can't do enough to promote Afghan music and the hope for the future of the Afghan people. For those who enjoyed this, there's so much more!
