When I found Silencer it almost made me cry. Love your content man, I don’t know how many times I’ve rewatched the Pultec/Fairchild clip. Thanks for helping us beginners out!
What i also love about Melodyne is the Detect Tempo Section. There are completely new Ways to think about the Grid. When you let your Drummer play the Song with his Feel and then adjust the Grid to the Drummer and not the Drummer to the Grid. I like both methods, depends on the style of music. But imagine Loops that follows the Drummer, love it! Thanks for your Vid.
Absolutely. Great plugs! And I love that they never go on sale - so you never have to feel bad about the price you paid - and $50 isn’t even bad for such solid plugins. Plus their freebies are great too!
@@spinlightstudios I agree with everything you just said. They are great people, with a solid biz plan and philosophy and I never look elsewhere for reverb or delay.
Heck yeah. I'm a Logic user just like you, and I use most of these plugins on every mix. The only one I don't use is Gold Clip. I'm sure it's awesome, but after trying a bunch of clippers I settled on StandardCLIP by Sir Audio Tools. I really like the saturation section as well as the different modes. I don't see any real need to change. Granted, I only use a clipper from drums anyway. I use a limiter for catching peaks because all clippers seem to distort the sound in a way that's cool on drums but that I don't like for other stuff.
Mouth De Click is the KING! It's #1 on my vocal buss lol. I have Misophonia (if you know what that is) so I absolutely can't STAND mouth noises (I know, wrong profession lol). I literally couldn't do this job without that plugin.
i LOVE the timing tool on melodyne. its by far the bestest i’ve ever used, not even close to vocalign imo. you can stretch your vocals up to certain amounts and it just makes it so natural… its like magic lol not as fast as vocalign but so natural! love this video! also would love to watch more mastering videos from u! your latest one was so helpful :)
Hell yeah man. I use a lot of these, except I use Synchro Arts Repitch instead of Melodyne. I actually had never heard of the Gold Clip - might have to check that out!
Cheers Rhys. Black Friday sales can't come quick enough! Can the mouth de-click tool be used on Gtrs to iron out the sound between fret movements? Any tips or suggestions you have to remove these noises are appreciated
Hmmm I haven’t really tried it on guitars - I’m not too fussy about string noise as I feel it adds a human element to a recording - otherwise ProMB is good At ducking string noise. I’ve used the standard de-click on various sounds to fix things and that has worked pretty well - mouth Declick I’m not sure, maybe?
@@spinlightstudios cheers Rhys, I'll check that out. I'm usually not bothered by it but on one of the songs I've been working on it feels so present in the mix it is all I hear. It's probably not even that noticeable to other people and I'm obsessing over nothing haha
I've been using the Kiive Audio NFuse a lot lately on my buses and master bus. Great saturation and widening tool. Also have your Tigger 2 sample pack... some awesome samples I highly recommend!

It’s definitely a gem that one! Thanks Simon!
Where's the clip? I love his content too! Want to watch it
Maybe search “vintage drum mix Spinlight studio” might find it!

That is cool!
Valhalla plugins are the best plugins I have ever purchased, period. I have all of them and I highly recommend them.

I’m sure standardclip gets the job done! Might have to do a clipper comparison video and see if there is a huge difference between them!

It’s pretty much the only reason I bought the RX bundle 😂 worth it
@@spinlightstudios 10000% agree
I have Oxford Inflator, permanently on my mix buss. It is just that mysterious plugin that does something great to every mix.
I also find inflator mysterious - a lot of the time when I’m using it I eventually end up removing it - but that’s probably just a me thing 😂
I love inflator too, but oxford plugins are really expensive 😢😢

Yeah it’s pretty awesome, slower, but less artifacts - for bvs vocalign is fine - if I was retiming a lead vocal melodyne is the way to go
So many plugins I have bought off of your recommendations that I ended up having most on this list LOL Why am I like this?! hahaha
Baha! You have a good set of tools there then!
Unchirp by Zynaptique. Brilliant for removing artifacts. Buy it on sale, as it's expensive!

It’s good just a bit pricey!
Keen to try re-pitch too

ATR-102 and 175-B from UAD are in every track I do.
They nearly got me on the sale last week 😅

Nfuse is awesome! Thanks heaps mate! Stoked to hear that :)
Surprised Black Salt's Silencer didn't make the list
Only because you can debleed with promb - Swiss Army knife
Bro, do us a vid on Melodyne!
Alright! Will do 🤘🏻
