I've recently been at Stonehenge, and they have a little museum there with archaeological finds and the history of the site, and they also have some skellies. I got pretty excited when overhearing the lady giving a tour to some other people: She explained how skeletons are gendered. You generally look at the brow ridge, hip width, size of certain bones. She explained this to tell us: They have a skeleton of a man there who has very androgynous features, and thus couldn't be gendered based on his bones. The reason we assume he's a man is because his culture had gender specific burial practices, and men would be buried laying on their left side (while women would be laying on their right side). I just wanted to share this because I find it to be a good example for the difference between gender and sex, and the uncertainty of sex in human biology. Also because you talked about skeletons and I was reminded of this.

I talked to an air force recruiter shortly after the trans military ban and he talked about how the military was pretty freaked out about it, because trans folks are a big demographic that tend to enlist. Armed forces are a place that trans folks can use to escape dangerous families or towns, recieve healthcare, and find acceptance (because the armed forces mandates personnel has to for cohesion). A lot of trans folks have served or are serving. Maybe people who wax on about respecting the troops should find out who these troops are?
I plan to join the AF as a Pansexual. I dont know currently if there is any Trans or if they are even a large demographic in the military. I do know, or I think I do that the military is kinda open to anyone joining. It is a volunteer job but also one with strict mental and physical health conditioning. I remember a transphobe room mate I had once argued that the military shouldnt accept gay or trans folk in because they might be ‘too emotional for the job’. He was in ROTC and is now an officer, but point is that there are those dipshits. I've recently been at Stonehenge, and they have a little museum there with archaeological finds and the history of the site, and they also have some skellies. I got pretty excited when overhearing the lady giving a tour to some other people: She explained how skeletons are gendered. You generally look at the brow ridge, hip width, size of certain bones. She explained this to tell us: They have a skeleton of a man there who has very androgynous features, and thus couldn't be gendered based on his bones. The reason we assume he's a man is because his culture had gender specific burial practices, and men would be buried laying on their left side (while women would be laying on their right side).
I just wanted to share this because I find it to be a good example for the difference between gender and sex, and the uncertainty of sex in human biology. Also because you talked about skeletons and I was reminded of this.

I talked to an air force recruiter shortly after the trans military ban and he talked about how the military was pretty freaked out about it, because trans folks are a big demographic that tend to enlist. Armed forces are a place that trans folks can use to escape dangerous families or towns, recieve healthcare, and find acceptance (because the armed forces mandates personnel has to for cohesion). A lot of trans folks have served or are serving. Maybe people who wax on about respecting the troops should find out who these troops are?

Fyi; I plan to join airforce and the guy in my story was in army. The airforce tends to be more liberal or leftist then the army. So that could be an explanation. Just know the general service member opinion’s and their mileage may vary.

The Air Force tends to be more laid back with things like this. You might run into the one or two dipshits that say some stupid as shit about the LGBT community but mostly no one gives a fuck who you are or what you identify as, as long as you do your job right.
They loose a percent max. You do know that trans people make up less that .5% of the population. Black people are a big demographic. Trans people are a footnote in comparison.

The natural stuff is so damn fake. They won't say a pacemaker is not natural and shouldn't be done, neither that someone who have blood disease might life off pretty much the bloods of others in society, having blood plasma transfusion is nothing natural, having dialysis to replace the job of your kidneys, taking lactase enzyme to be able to have a nice ice cream or enjoy your Mom's fettuccine pasta. Those with thyroid problems, taking antidepressants, synthetic vitamins and supplements. Pretty much any surgery, removing tonsils, appendix, part of the intestine or bladder removed to be replaced with a catheter and a bag, having your your heart valves replaced with pigs valves or mechanical. They will never argue against that. I'm pretty sure if he get to have a girlfriend at some point, he would be just fine with her taking birth control, even if in his view she would be less of a woman. Also steroids for body builders, it's fine for him.
It might be bad of my part, but sometimes i wish those guys will end up with testicular cancer, have a reduction in testosterone, see their body become more and more effeminate in shape but still identify as a man, maybe then they would understand.

A heart surgery is performed to fix an organ. Trans surgeries are performed to create something that looks like an organ that wasn't there in the first place. That's why results aren't pretty and those organs are merely aesthetic but non-functional.
