Wow, how this podcast has fallen off. This was probably the podcast that got me into podcasts, but man is it boring without all of the original cast together.
1:20:10 Unfortunately, a lot of what has been observed regarding the usage of AI tools is to remove the artist/animator step of the workflow by being able to generate imagery/assets without needing to worry about personnel cost/decreased profit, as opposed to reducing the need to work on minutiae e.g. crowd animation/generation, physics simulation (In fact, this tech already exists and is being further worked on, as you guys mention later). Much of what these AI engines use to generate said imagery as well involves taking copyrighted work from artists/media without proper acknowledgement of rights/trademark, which opens up another can of worms re: who owns the resulting work, whether artists receive fair compensation for their efforts on the preceding works, or even if they can exercise their consent regarding the usage of their works to train these AI engines, etc. All in all, yeah; it's a terribly muddy situation right now regarding AI use as a tool.
I watched the matrix the first time last week, and seeing how much ai is evolving makes me slightly concerned based on what the ai in the matrix did xD
I thought Jack was racist because on a podcast he said he was with his friends and they saw a black guy walking and he said " Hey Black ass. " So, I never really liked him. But over the years he grew on me.
@@jeromebryant9999 Jack usually states things to bring forward a point on what he doesnt like. So perhaps you just heard him say that after some mention of not liking some crew for their racism
listening to y'all talk about Assassin's Creed as a hyper AC fan, was painful xD it's ok, not everyone is a fan who knows everything but when you do know everything, it's painful :')
assassins creed lost its touch after Origins, then each game after that just became the same game just with a different map, assassins creed 4 was peak assassins creed for me.
