Anxiety symptoms are scary but even more so when they appear out of the blue and completely unexpected. There are times when you have a few good days or even weeks pass without feeling anxious at all. And then suddenly you feel symptoms creeping back up. That is when your mind goes right back to worrying about your health and you are back to where you started.
Especially when in anxiety recovery it is important to understand why you can still feel stress symptoms even though you might not feel anxious at all...

Seems like Vertigo. Talk to your doctor, and have your ears checked.
Do you have tinnitus? Even if you don't, sometimes the causes have to do with your inner ear where your sense of balance lies, and issues with it may be treatable.
Not everything is psychosomatic ;)

So no lifting weights since that causes muscle tension?

I haven't been able to breathe (along with many other symptoms) for a few years and I've always heard about people talking about "30 mins panic attacks" and i'm always trying to search why i've been having this ongoing years long panic attack and i've never heard about this before, i'm so glad i know what it is now.
Hey, Nana! How are doing? Hope you're feeling better now
Man this is so good to know, I thought I was going crazy, haven't been stressed in full 6 to 7 months , but some symptoms persisted as my anxiety was specific, really glad to know it's gonna be over soon
How are you feeling now?
Lol. You havnt been stressed for 7 month yet still have symptoms? It ain’t getting better bro
I’m currently going through this. I have been having mostly arm pain and chest pain which sent me spiraling. I had a few anxious days last week but that part was over. So I kept wondering why I was still in pain if my stress was over. Now I’m just trying to Practice better habits such as meditation, resting more, eating better, no caffeine until I ride this out.
How are things going now?
Me too. I've been to the ER twice. They've basically told me nothing is wrong with my lungs or heart. Yet I can't get my chest/left arm to not feel numb. This is a personal hell. I've never had anxiety before. But most of my family members have anxiety disorders. I always thought that I was lucky and didn't suffer from it. But since I've turned 21 I've been feeling more anxious. Im tired of my chest hurting.

This made me feel quite a bit better for over a week i have been thinking i am going to have a heart attack due to chest pain waking up one night and i googled my symptoms and ended up in hospital twice and the doctors the third time they all assured me that my ECG is normal and that my pain was due to a muscle inflammation due to my strenuous exercise routine. It has taken so much out of me feeling a new symptom everyday, not wanting to be alone, quite tense, grinding my teeth etc in my sleep. Then discovering you and a few other UA-camrs who have experienced a similar thing feels good as now that everyday i am getting better not googling. You also made me feel better as even when i am relaxed and not stressed i feel my symptoms or just random aches and pains that this is muscle tension releasing after being so anxious. So thankyou for that.
Thank you so much Simone. Its good to know that the videos i post really do help people out there who have to go through a similar situation as i did.
Yes, always keep in mind that your mind is still hypersensitive even when you feel better. It takes time for your brain to calm down and react less sensitive to your bodies sensations. Just knowing that connection helped me tremendously.
Stay stron and i wish you all the best on this journey. Once you get there you will be stronger and happier 💪. Hope to see you around here in future :)

Back in October, November, December of 2023. I was going through the worst anxiety ever. Your videos helped me a lot. I would fall asleep watching your videos. Some I watched over and over again. I had just been hospitalized from postpartum complications and that spiked my health anxiety. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING THESE VIDEOS!!!!
This happened to me for the first time recently. So I’m 17 in high school, and I have as diagnosed with major anxiety this year because of the coronavirus lockdown and having no net of friends to really fall back on. I was used to having provoked panick attacks (meaning I was anxious, so it made sense I was panicked.) but recently, having not had any for MONTHS since the end of quarantine, after this whole school year, I was just listening to music in my room and doodling and suddenly I noticed that my heart was POUNDING in my chest and that my throat was so tight I felt like I was choking. My chest just got tighter and tighter as if a rope was around it and I was being squeezed. It got so bad that I felt dizzy, I hyperventilated, my body cramped up, I was shaking, I got tunnel vision and visual static, andi had bad pain running from the top of the right side of my throat down through my arm- which was the sole reason I figured I might be having a heart attack instead because I’ve heard in women they can get neck and arm pain. But nope, I just became anxious because of the attack. Anyway I talked to my parents about it after it happened and they immediately consoled me and told me I had a panic attack even though I thought I was having a heart attack.
I tend to feel worst at a certain time of the day - in the evenings around dinner time. I can feel OK all day, and then I crash completely. I have tried modifying diet and other behaviours during the day, had my blood sugar checked regularly, but still no physical explanation. I now believe that this is part of my anxiety pattern, as there doesn't appear to be any other logical explanation.
After literally 13 appointments and constant reassurance from the doctors that I am healthy, I have finally accepted the fact that it is indeed just anxiety. The last doctor said that the symptoms are normal so I was fine for a few days. But now as I was watching a movie, no stress, the sharp chest pain came back. This made me once again think that Im sick and took me back to the start ... I feel like I could finally recover without these chest pains ...
I have this same problem and then get this smothered feeling like I’m not getting enough air. But I’m not actually out of breath or short. It’s so scary
@@avesh7878 I no longer feel any pain. That painful phase lasted for 9 months and back then I really thought it would never end but it did
@@avesh7878 thank you :)
@@BabieOKOKeat same here.. had a panic attack on October of this year. Started to feel better but then this air hunger came and is still lingering up until now. Almost going on 2 months already.. no other symptoms but this one. Constantly yawning to get a full breath of air and/or trying to get a full satisfying breath.
Maybe just watch comedies, cartoons anything that makes me emotional or keeps me in suspense I avoid
Thank you so much for your videos. I had a near fatal pulmonary embolism 4 months ago, which brought a return of my panic disorder and health anxiety. Just so happens that symptoms of a panic attack mimic the PE symptoms I experienced perfectly, so I'm stuck in a spiraling loop, even though my tests come back fine. Your videos explain perfectly what I'm going through, and they're really reassuring! Starting CBT soon, and hoping it helps. Big love and appreciation to you for your work 🙌
OMG YOUR COMMENT MADE ME CRY BECAUSE I HAD TWO EPISODES OF PULMONARY EMBOLISMS both 3 months apart back in 2018 and ever since then I have had health anxiety!!! My physical anxiety symptoms never went away and I experience them every day because my body always feels like at any time I will feel that sharp shooting pain in my chest again out of nowhere because there will be a blood clot in my lungs again like the last two times and on top of that I get even more scared because what if it breaks off and goes to my brain or to my heart. I have panic attacks every time I’m alone for even 1 hour because I think something horrible will go wrong. I can’t trust my body anymore. My whole life feels so dark.
Stay close to your hematologist and trust their test results and i always ask myself that even on a healthy person who never had any medical issues can end up having a fatal illness so should every single person on this earth live in painful anxiety? It has helped me a lot.
I wish you a very long life full of courage, bravery, healing, health, comfort and true inner happiness💕 YOU GOT THIS 😊
Omg this does not help us anxiety sufferers at all, just adds more worry that a panic attack could actually be something super serious like a PE 😭😭😭😭😭

@@beekey1322 I havent been feeling anxious lately, but I still have lack of concentration, and brain fog. Is this nomral!?
Is there anyone who are troubling while resting like when you want to rest the body doesn't want to rest and muscle start tigh, heart rate started rise, jaw clinching, back tightness , neck tightness.. head started shaking..
The hardest time for me is trying to relax and sleep. I'll find myself up for half the night getting very little sleep. Unfortunately the recipe isn't helping with the anxiety in a whole. I'm seeking medical help this week for the first time in my life because I used to be able to control it. Currently having panic attacks daily which I've never had prior to a month or so ago. It is difficult but I try to stay positive as possible. Hopefully we can all work through it.
@@jdboy9 Just to let you know that if you cannot sleep, it means that your body produces a lot of cortisol. This is due to anxiety, later, your digestive system will get affected, then you will have leaky gut. You will feel fatigue, skin problems, etc, etc. Don't be panic. The first step now is to stop the production of the cortisol. Practice deep breathing, 5 second to inhale, hold for 2 sec, exhale slowly for 8 secs. Then, take vit d3, b1, c and omega 3. If you feel stiftness in your joints, take turmeric capsul. Then mske sure you have long walk everyday, like at least 30 min, walk slowly and relax. Force yourself to have as much as sleep as possible. Eat a lot of vegetables, don't eat flour at all. One more thing, take probiotic! Hope tjis helps

I'm the opposite of you
Your vids are great and they seem to be spot on. I was in denial about anxiety because I have a heart condition. So I was sure it was that. After lots or dr visits and tests. I'm fine. I've had a couple really bad attacks that made me go to the emergency room. One time hypoventilating.. Hands went stiff. Couldn't breathe. I thought it was a heart attack for sure. I now mainly just deal with that off balance feeling. Kinda blurry vision that makes me dizzy easy. Shortness of breath and lots of out of the blue fatigue.... I've been trying to exercise daily and take anxiety supplements. I'll have good days and bad days. Always looking for symptoms.... This all started in March after my first panic attack. I've never had any issues in my life before that. Now it seems never ending...
Me too. Never had issues like this before until my 1st panic attack in 2017. Been fighting my battle ever since. But it does get better. You learn to accept it and you're not as afraid anymore. Still worry but it doesn't debilitate you as much.
How are you
It's not permanent, you're gonna be perfectly normal in time
Thank you so much for this education, I feel like I have hope now. From Indonesia
After being through a super stressful event. I have struggled with, pelvic pain, neuropathic issues heat sensations, electical pins and needles, insomia, tension in my neck and these symptoms over lap and switch at times. I also have flaire ups if I get more active. It's scary and frustrating at the same time.
I love love you and you'll be good bro❤
Could you please share updates now? Are you better or is it still the same? I've had very similar symptoms to you.
@SugarsugarFruity-hz6lz
I'm still dealing with some of them. But I will say I have improved. Some days and times throughout the day, I hardly notice any symptoms. Insomia has gone away for the most part.
Taking a mind body approach has been the best. Going to the gym and eating better has helped. If I relapse on a diet or gym, or feel anxious, that's when things tend to get iffy for me. Hang in their, you'll get better and fully recover. I would recommend Dan Buglio. His videos are helpful, and he interviews people with multitudes of symptoms that have fully recovered. Christ, be with you.
Thank you!
Mental symptoms are the ones that get me. Not much in the way of physical symptoms, but derealization/depersonalization, racing thoughts, etc. are what get me

@@starwarsstuff8098 Speaking from experience right now - exercise, sleep (melatonin if you need it - insomnia doesn't necessarily mean you can't sleep, it might just mean you don't sleep well) and good eating are doing WONDERS for me
I’ve been suffering with health anxiety/stress for a few months and have been experiencing all of the classic physical and emotional symptoms. However, I’m struggling to accept them for what they are and am constantly thinking they a more serious medical problem which then makes the symptoms worse! Can you offer any advice on acceptance at all? Thanks.
I want to state that i am not a medical professional and so everything i say is just from my experience :)
I believe that acceptance isnt really possible when facing the extremely high stress levels we are in. Our general stress levels are elevated 24/7 and in this state our mind is programmed to have a negative view or even catastrophic view. So when we face physical sensations our mind jumps right into its negative thoughts. There is no processing time or even time to control your thoughts. That is why i believe before you can practice true acceptance you will need to work on lowering stress first. Get you general stress levels down and you will be able to regain control of your thoughts.
I believe the most effective way to do this is a radical lifestyle and habits change. Implement things you know are healthy and stress reducing and cut out habits that are bad. This is the way you can actively work against the constant anxiety that is being built up within you and significantly lower your levels in a relatively short time.
After a few weeks of positive changes in your life you will notice that acceptance comes kind of natural and isnt really something that you had to practice for.
Hope this helps :)

Sidney Zurhytt Hi I was making progress until COVID-19 which has brought all of the symptoms to the surface again. How are you?
Alex Pegg well, I’ve never experienced that in my life till now, I went through surgery a week before my country stared the lockdown, I was so afraid because it’s was a jaw surgery and I had my mouth closed, and I couldn’t eat solid foods, so I stared having palpitations that developed to dizziness, nausea, till I started having panic attack all from fear of having covid while in recovery of the surgery! Are u on social media? So we could talk more!!! Or maybe what’sapp?

Is possible to recover from anixety and now feel fine but still feel a bit hypersimulated for a bit? The goal is to now calm my self down and let my body recover for a while?
I’ve had a setback after about 7 months panic and anxiety free. I had my first bout of anxiety and panic attacks around the pandemic and was having multiple panic attacks a day. I was on medication and improved immensely I even came off my meds and was fine until last week I had been having slight chest pain niggles off and on for a few days which I had put down to muscle tension. One day at work I was particularly stressed and on came the severe chest pain, queue anxiety, racing heartbeat… I managed to breathe through it and get through the day. The next couple of days were relatively anxiety free but I was very aware of my bodily sensations and on the lookout for chest/heart symptoms. On Friday I felt dizzy which is a new symptom for me and went into a panic, I left work feeling as though I was going to pass out. Now I feel like I’m right back where I started. It’s so deflating, I thought I was over it and that my acceptance had cured me haha how silly of me 🙄 I guess anxiety never really goes away, I just wish I saw it coming, my anxiety triggers aren’t always obvious but I think stress is obviously a big factor for me, even though it’s what most would consider normal stress
Medications only supress the physical symptoms by relaxing your mind and muscles but deep down in the subconscious the anxiety is still there work on your subconscious mind instead of relying on the meds, do meditation, yoga and most importantly try to always keep yourself busy and even if you feel a lil dizzy or hyperventilated just watch it don't try to control it.
My panic attacks started on a random day 3 weeks ago. The attack was so bad i stopped responding to everything and the emeregncy people had to.stop the van to get me to look and act fucking alive. Had another one reecntly but anxiety attacks r almost everyday . I usually never get stressed so for me this is a weird thing that entered my life
the one thing that's been reassuring me at least is that i didn't have all of my symptoms when i was studying but when i stopped to "rest" i suddenly became a hypochondriac :))) seems like all my pent up stress and anxiety from school suddenly exploded
Happened to me too! Went straight from high school stress to college stress, and when I finally finished, I started thinking that I had some chronic, life-altering disease or even cancer. It’s been 3 years now, and I’m finally able to go to specialists to start ruling out things I’ve been worried about all this time (MS, specifically). I feel like my body is addicted to the stress, and once school was done, it had to find something else to stress about: my physical health. It’s tiring and exhausting, but we will get through it.
We are getting through it❤
Thank you
I had a health scare about 2 months ago so was worried and stressing until i seen a specialist a few weeks later (all clear nothing to worry about). Week after started to develop systoms like pounding heart (heart rate is normal) epessically when laid flat at night. Chest pain, arm numbness, muscle aches as well. Had ecg and bloods all clear so doctors think it's a delayed anxiety and stress reaction to my health scare. Systoms have got slighty better over the past 6 weeks but still suffering with pounding heart and chest niggles. Crazy never felt anything it, took a few weeks off work to see if that helps 🤷♂️
How are you doing now?
@CreeperzCrazinessExPlOsIoN a lot better, a lot of my physical symptoms have gone apart from twitching, tight jaw and odd tension headache. Just working on controllering the health anxiety now and not let it take over my day to day.
Thanks a lot brother , the state that u mentioned was I am experiencing now , I searched all about my anxiety cause , it's symptoms like ibs, gagging , frequent urination , chill palms , dizziness etc etc now i actually crossed almost all symptoms after several years of struggles , very recently I found some burb feeling inside me gets raised when I am anxious or worring about uncertainities .
I don't how to fix the burb feeling ?? Any suggestions ?? From your side ??
Weeeird. Ive had the same thing when i would get extremely anxious. Like air was stuck in my throat. Thought i was the only one who experienced this. I find ot very difficult to pin point certain things that target a specific symptom. If they exist they would only be considered short term solution as the underlying issue is still the highly elevated stress. So i can only say that managing stress overall has helped me recover from all symptoms. Or maby im just growing...
I cant wait to wake up at the morning and not be fell dizziness anymore.. All doctors, Laryngologist, psychologist and neurologist are saying it's because of anxiety so maybe it will go away.
Great video!! If you say symtoms start from muscle tension....should I not go lift weights then? Doesnt anyone who hits the gym gets their muscle tense to grow? My shoulders are droopy I walk like a bum now because I'm being distracted by something. I feel like tearing it up sometimes deep inside my root but I just cant seem to do so.
Well I always encourage people to go out and workout at the gym. It was something that i have made great use of during my recoverzy. I always explain it this way. Well yes, working out can and often will have adverse affects and will make symptoms flare up because of the extra tension BUT once recovered and muscles have grown they become much more resilient to stress and tension. Working out itself rids you of stress hormones too. A stong body will have directly influence on your mental state. So working out has two benefits. Your body can cope with stress and strain better and it frees up your mind to feel more at ease, confident and healhty. Everything one needs for recovery
I can't even have coffee, anything high in sugar or get really cold or else I get neuropathy, my heart rate beats fast, light-headedness/dizziness, shakiness and I even lose the ability to stand after that. I don't even want to be alone because my biggest fear is that I will have the attack which makes me paralyzed, weak and tired after that. I went to the hospital three times but they basically all said the same thing. Except the last hospital I went to said I have an overactive thyroid and that I should get it checked out by endocrinologist. I even had to take a medical leave at work because I can't be having these attacks at work. They could also be triggered if I'm cold, if I'm in a big crowd, even grocery shopping and mall shopping is hard and even cooking a basic meal other than microwaving is hard for me. I don't have a life anymore! But there's not much I can do medically right now because the holidays are around the corner so a lot of places are backed up.
Get your heart checked out I’d say , then if they say everything is good then I’d trust it. N go on n ignore every symtom that comes. And with the thyroid issue , I’m not a doctor but I feel as if the heart is more important than a thyroid yes get it checked out but if your main worry is your heart then get it checked it out. And after they say that your okay ignore all the symtoms and go on with your day every time u feel scared , jus ignore it n go on with your day eventually you will beat it n return to a normal state
Ty brother
I had most of the symptoms ppl are describing here but during the anxiety did anyone feel a head burning sensation or like their brain was being hit with a surge of chemicals. My mind went to meningitis or something but when I went to the ER for a CT scan they found no signs of head inflammation or damage whatsoever so most likely it was just the anxiety
Had that too
Yes with anxiety your brain releases chemicals, they can also be negative thoughts.
Yes. And it only lasts for a short time or so and then is gone.
Even now in sleep I feel anxiety and sweat 😑 life become so poor feels like when I die it's better
Right now I'm in a better place than I was months ago, but, what's causing the anxiety now its this muscle tension I get on my neck, when it goes away I always remind myself that it's there and it comes back. I need to figure out a way to forget about it
Omg! I have this with dizziness, i don’t feel dizzy but when i think about it i get it!

I had 2 severe panic attacks that brought me to the emergency room. all tests normal, ekg perfect, physical test normal. Since the severe panic attacks I hav about 1-2 everyday for a month without reason which got me the panic disorder diagnosis. Ever since the panic attacks my body hasn't been the same, hot flashes, headaches, trembling, limb aches, stiffness, dizziness, sleep disturbances/nightime panic. Anyone else experience this?
Do you think muscle tension can even occur behind the eyeballs? I feel my eye flashes and floaters are because I am unconsciously holding tension there.
for me is my visual. i always think im schizophrenic because when i see a glimpse of light and something is moving in the corner of my vision and then my stress is rise up. can u answer or breakdown my symptom please? sorry my english is not good
Can anxiety make you feel out of breath randomly and that's all? I have quite bad anxiety and I'm always afraid I'm gonna die from every little sensation and for a while i thought i had asthma until a doctor told me i didn't and that he thinks i have anxiety but sometimes the fear that I'm gonna have a heart attack or asthma attack or something like that prevents me from going places... Even though i know the doctor said i don't have asthma i just can't get it out my head that i do
if your doctor assured you you don't have asthma, trust him/her.

Ahh.. I see. I was wondering what do do about this returning feeling of uneasyness when nothing is going on. X_ X I'll just have to sit it out and relax for another 6 months for it to completely improve to normal? s:
Anyone else feel weird head pressure/ headaches often or daily? It's a really annoying feeling and I've had it since my first panic attack so I'm assuming my muscles around my head area have been locked up since. It causes a whole array of other symptoms ( fatigue, brain fog, etc..) 🙄
Yup - since first panic attack got about 6 months of constant sharp short stabbing pain around chest area and then somehow that dissapeared and turned into daily constant headache...Its very hard to convince yourself its just anxiety as it never fully goes away. Even had MRI and said it was fine but I worry they didnt use contrast so maybe they missed something idk... hope you get better
How are u now
Hey Drew! I understand you commented on this a while back, but I’m just reaching out to ask how you are feeling now? I have had this very annoying head pressure lately, it’s hard to explain to anyone and everyone thinks I’m nuts haha. You all good now? Thanks
@@GR31LLY I’m doing better thanks. Not 100% but I completely attribute this to anxiety and the parasympathetic nervous system still in shock. I’ve done so much research and even when someone is not currently feeling anxious their subconscious can still be in overdrive that’s causing the physical sensations, for the first time in my life I’m taking an SSRI and I’m being diligent with it. Hopefully by regulating my serotonin levels this could help diminish the physical anxiety symptoms, I’m not putting all my hope in to this as it’s trial and error when it comes to taking any type of medication. But just being cognizant that it is not life-threatening and you will be OK suffices, I’ve gone MRI and CT scans , countless bloodwork, And any lab test you can imagine and nothing comes back abnormal so the only culprit is anxiety. Which of course it can definitely be annoying, In the beginning it was damn near debilitating for me, but it’s just my luck of the draw and one can either complain or take action. What helps me is knowing that I’m in a much better place physically mentally and then a lot of other people on earth( Terminal cancer, in hospice, Blind, no arms) etc. Keep pushing brother you’ll be Okay 👍
When ever I get little sick like fever or stomach ache . I get stressed and got balance issues and doctor says it's anxiety. How to get rid of this balance symptoms any help
How did you get rid of your balance issues? I’m currently having that right now and my head aches haven’t been gone.. I’ve been getting headaches everyday for about 7 months straight and about a week ago I got my first migraine ever it was the worst. Recently my brothers friend died from a brain tumour (he had headaches, dizziness etc) now I’m afraid I will have that too that’s why I’m getting way more stressed & really bad anxiety due to it. Idk what the problem is and my MRI is scheduled on December 30th. Hopefully everything goes well for me 🥺

Is pins and needles that comes and goes for few seconds and moving into deferent part of the body is part of anxiety??
What are the techniques you use to eliminate anxiety?
Everything that helps release built up tension. REGULAR exercise, muscle training, muscle relaxation techniques, stretching little bit of yoga were super important. Then after gaining some comfort back focusing on my life and how i wanted it to be. Quit the old job i hated. Married the woman i loved etc etc. That probably was my root cause. Caring too much about what others thought and expected of me
Even though I’m having a good time with my family, i can still experience palpitation, neck tightness, chest pains and difficulty in breathing, i cant explain the feelings but its very worst. It’s with me for a Month already. Huhu
Mines been ongoing for 9 months. Started off with ibs, I thought it was caffiene so I quit cold turkey, that made my anxiety worse. I get chest tightness feeling like I can't breathe sore neck, headache always at the back of my head but it feels more like a pressure inside my head, random pains all over my body mainly my torso front and. Back. Iv had every test under the sun to rule out anything., (bloods, CT scans, mris, heart, cardio tests lung tests even x rays but symptoms still come and go hourly. It's very hard to get away from this

Plzz reply 🙂
See i have anxiety because of anxiety symtoms so what should i do?
I experience vision changes symptoms everyday for like 4 month now any tips how to get ride of it ?
anything targeting just one symptom would just be scratching the surface. I would suggest tackling anxiety as a whole. Working on lowering stress and releasing tension. Me too

Seeking reassurance like I shouldn’t be but I have a really specific and difficult to describe symptom:
Sometimes I’ll suddenly feel excess energy and heat within my body, it often radiates from my lower back and this will create an uncomfortable feeling of excitability and nervousness but WITHOUT increased heart rate or respiration. It’s almost like there’s a vague almost nonexistent pain/nausea felt from it as well but within my muscles, not a feeling like I’ll puke. This excess energy is very uncomfortable and concerning, it causes my thoughts to race and to try and understand it, it feels like I’m at the mercy for it to just leave on its own and I can’t actually get it to go away otherwise. While like this my hands will tremble and I will have twitchy movements throughout my body and after a long enough time if this it makes me weak and then the trembling continues but now from weakness instead of the excess energy. Really concerning stuff and I’m trying to stay strong and believe it’s a strange manifestation of prolonged intense anxiety that can just butt in when I’m having a completely fine day
Anyone got the persistent psychogenic numb/tingling tongue?
I’ve had anxiety for 3 years, and after I started getting thousands of daily heart skips (PVC, PAC) and small weird runs. My health anxiety went completely out of control. I feel these, along with other symptoms daily. I felt better for a few months last year, and finally felt I got over it. But a stressful situation triggered it, and all my symptoms flared up again. Including a new one of getting dizzy, weird breathing from tension, feeling lightheaded and weak/numbness in my whole right side. Awful. Which made my anxiety worse than ever. I live in fear of my own body every single day, especially my heart since it have these arrythmias. The doctors keep saying it’s my anxiety triggering all this, and that it can get better. But with a depression now thrown on top of the anxiety, I feel rather hopeless and like my life and body is ruined. I’m trying to get better every day though. Doing yoga and meditation, and taking supplements to support my nerve system and GABA. But I really need some sort of therapy. Soon. I just don’t know where to look.. I really want to avoid meds, as my experiences with these are not positive - but if nothing else, it might be my only option. I live in fear every day, and have no control over my body or mind.
Therapy in nutshell you tube channel...A CBT approach helped me check that out.

This is me! Lots of muscle tension. Neck, shoulders arms and hands. Numbness tingingly. Panic attacks. Numbness and tension like a band around my head and face with intermittent headache. Migraine like headaches. I'm now in my 4th week on Lexapro (escitalopram). Going from 10 mg to 20 mg today as it hasn't worked yet. I have had these symptoms for two and a half years. It's not spine related and no disease as that has been ruled out. Doctor believes its anxiety/stress related.🤞

@MovieHub i have tingling in feet along with tight feet muscles
I'm not anxious about anything now . but physical symptoms not gone . blur eyes or not attached with Self 🙁🙁 how much more time it will take
There is no specific number on how long recovery takes. For me it was about a year of really implementing a strong routine focused on stress management. When you say you feel detached do you mean depersonalization? Cause if thats the case you might have reached an overwhelm point and your body is trying to keep you calm by detaching yourself from yourself. Have a look at some of "the anxiety ninja"s videos here on youtube. He has some great videos on dp/dr.

@@umbertofurlan501 mine isn't 24/7 but I get it at strange times. Always thought it was food related but I am pretty sure it is axeity. I am going Tuesday to the doctors to talk about my issues. Main reason I'm going is I've developed panic attacks for the last month and the attacks progressively got worse and more frequent. I've only self diagnosed myself up till this point but the more I think back about times over the years where I wasn't feeling well I'm almost positive were anxiety. I thought I was stronger than my mind but it would seem not so. Going to the doctors will at least hopefully eliminate the physical worry anyway...
