I bought it today, along with another gear shifter knob+adapter from a different seller. After two Logitech Driving Force shifters failed for me, I decided to try Thrustmaster's budget option. It's working great, I just don't like the stock shifting knob. I'm looking forward to trying out this mod for myself! Great video!
I like they used magnets. Should be more durable than the spring ball mods. I did the spring ball shifter mod to my TH8RS (predecessor to TH8A) and noticed it made the shifter louder as the shape of the shifter acts like a bell amplifying any internal noises. So I opened it back up and filled the empty spaces with foam pieces. Now its nice and quiet while still getting the extra feel.
bought and installed the mod after watching this video, shifter is now not working correctly anymore 7, R and 2 are flipped and first gear doesnt get triggered at all. whats your experience with that?

Just installed mine and 1st and reverse are now swapped as are 7th and 2nd. Can’t seem to fix it

Started using this recently and find that it's started to squeak, does yours as well?

To be completely accurate, I used to have one a few years back, but it died sadly. ☠️
