volvo v50 2.0 d 2007 steering lock

common fault is a sticky steering lock. £250 - £500 for a reprogrammed new lock . As this worked for me I'm going to extend the wiring and leave the lock in the glove box. My car has 200k miles and isn't worth spending £300 on if a bodge works.
