Here in finland we have a store called motonet that has very affordable parts from universal to original brand parts. I used to have a beatyfull black e39 530d m sport with all the possible comfort equipment you can imagine and a straight exhaust. Had to sell it because expensive to keep and maintain. It has a better home now :)

Well they sell xenon kits which has all the needed parts. And yes those xenon bulbs from the kit fits to halogen lamps. But your lamp should be made for xenon. Atleast here it is mandatory to have a xenon projector.
Please people don’t just put a xenon bulb in your own reflector style headlight. That’s actually a hazard for yourself and other drivers because it’s not being directed to the right places like projector style lenses would. This is why you see people with blinding headlights at night. Not because they are good but because it’s the wrong bulb. Advice: get a lense restoration kit and new bulbs and you’ll be under $30... $50 tops
Some diehard car peeps use leather driving gloves because the natural oils in human skin csn discolour and wear leather steering wheels faster. I wear leather driving gloves on long/spirited drives for this very reason :) it was more common to wear leather drivimg gloves prior to the 1990's, but i understand that in todays world, it might seem like a bit of a novelty or curiosity, but the purpose of wearing them today is still the same as why it was more common during the golden years of motoring. Another great mod is to remove that stupid warning that is printed on the visors. Just get some goof off and remove with elbow grease. They come off completely if you are persistent. Costs $5.

I don't think any of those can be classified as "mods" but more like customizing... All you changed was the appearense. Any car guy would tell you that a "mod" is something that actually changes the performance of the car.
The problem is the front bar, the wheel lining plastics and other under body plastics up front are expensive as hell to replace. Even without lowing they get chopped up.
