Happy Birthday to Sally Struthers! I was only 6-years-old in 1971, but catching it on reruns when I was in my early teens, I really appreciated and admired Gloria. I wanted to be just like her, and watching her growing as a character was even more a reason to admire her. Sally is a wonderful actress and her being able to bring a "real character" to life is a testament to her acting abilities. I always wanted to meet her as well. She was the perfect woman to play Gloria, that's for sure!!

The scene when Archie talks privately before she marries Mike was so beautiful, it made me cry! I wish all father/daughter relationships could be like that.❤❤❤❤
When All In The Family first started I was in the Marine Corps with 1st. Force Recon at Camp Pendelton . I would hear others talking about the show . I had no idea what they were talking about . I am now 76 finally catching up . I love it .
She was so funny , I loved when she wld pinch or smack Archie and he wld be like " do you see what she is dng , or little girl don't hit your father" things like that
She was soo hot & gave off a very different vibe & sexy demeanor the 1st 5 seasons. Wasnt so much just putting on a little weight around season 6 but her acting & persona became dorky & gimmicky but was def still cute & likable. Just 2 different styles of acting starting around 1975/76.
Every day, you cut and paste this same comment in every and all All In The Family videos on UA-cam. It's insanity. Mental illness isn't something that you have to live with. There is help available to you, if you reach out. Whether it's talk therapy or medications. I urge you to help yourself from this lonely life of Obsessive/Compulsive madness.
I love in the Family and the hugely talented cast. The one thing though I dislike about the series is Gloria's WAAAAAHHHHHHH schtick. it is unbearable. She's good at it, but it's annoying. I love everything else she does on the show. (and it know it may be a homage to I Love Lucy, but I grew up in the70s and it was passe even then--I think the WAAAHHH shtick was a concession to more old fashioned viewers as was Ediths increasing and impossible dingbattiness to the point of wondering how she was even able to survive until she became more assertive later on. However, even Edith's most preposterous dingbat bits were always funny. gloria's WAAAAHHHH never never was.
