It's because of the topography, bridges, tunnels, hills, rivers preventing a proper grid. I love it and wouldn't trade it in for a boring cityscape that's for sure.
You forgot the Bicycle Museum!! Traveled to the 'burgh last week and my boyfriend and I visited the Bicycle Museum. It was really cool, the place was huge and had thousands of, some, unique bikes.
I was in Pittsburgh in 2013 and went to the Three Rivers casino and saw the beginning of the Ohio River. I have always wanted to go back to the city and I appreciate this video. Thanks for posting it.
Great job considering the time restraints. With that being said, Pittsburgh is the center of an extended metropolitan area of over 2.6 million people. It dominates most of Western PA. I would add the Carnegie Science Center, The Strip, Carson St., Shadyside, Oakland and Squirrel Hill as part of the very active Pittsburgh scene . With that being said, nice work!

Thank you so much for your videos! I agree with so many on the Pittsburgh list, but I would also suggest some more explorations of neighborhoods close to town like Southside and The Strip (at least for an original Primanti Bros sandwich and some on-street Steelers/Penguins/Pirates swag!). I realize those would likely appeal more to adults and your videos are more family oriented (I did see most on your list with my kids about 10 years ago) but there are a lot of great restaurant, shopping, and local flavor types of things in the city that shouldn't be missed!
Those are some great spots, but you probably could have included the museums as one category (natural history/art, science, Warhol, mattress factory, Heinz History center, Frick). That would free up space for the thriving music scene (Grammy winning Pittsburgh Symphony, Pittsburgh Opera, Ballet, jazz, River City brass, Bach Beethoven and brunch). You have to mention the huge parks (Frick Park, Schenley Park, Highland Park). The Cathedral of Learning is neat to visit with all the international classrooms. There's no mention of the Strip District or Carson Street on the South Side. Maybe mention some touristy cuisine that you don't find in other places. Maybe Church Brew Works, primanti Brothers, Pamela's. There's tons of other stuff to do in Pittsburgh, but these are low hanging fruit for a top ten list.
Omg I was there for labor day and almost lost my mind in their traffic. The person that designed these streets was high on crack. Driving all over the USA and Europe and Pitt is the worst. If they have a lot of drunk drivers, they have to have a lot of fatalities.
