Yes it is baffling. Either their are two versions of mk6 camera or some people are not using the mk6 camera & are using a different type. Mine definitely had to have the tiny bit of metal cut away.

which rear camera badge did you get as I've seen some that are a straight fit and some need a bit of metal removing inside the boot door
