Your Cajun-Asian fusion fried rice looks absolutely scrumptious! I'm getting all chef-y over here, thinking about recreating it. But I noticed one thing - where's the fried egg? Most fried rice recipes are like "egg-cited" to have a scrambled egg in the mix. Any particular reason you gave it the day off? 🍳😄

Chef AB is firin' it up!!
Ooooooh doggie, do I love me my fried rice AND my jambalayas. Spent some time over Louisiana way and the panhandle of FL. Cajun folk everywhere being happy, dancing, and making un-friggin'-believeable food.
This dish is gonna be a winner. Bring the FUSION....always. 👍
I'd like to add that there is no teevee or YT Chef that I respect more than AB. Just do what he says y'all.
I just subbed and did an "all notifications". Seriously, am not a stranger to man chef-in', mostly in the great out of doors, on grills and griddles. That said, I've watched about 5 episodes and I like the cut of his recipes and attitude. AB owns it and that's pretty pretty alright by me.
    Thanks Chef!

Super. Yes, to make fried rice you have to cook it a day in advance. I've never tried making rice in the morning and then using it in the afternoon but that should work. I'm too lazy to cook anything but breakfast in the morning. Pro-tip: cut your sausage in half lengthwise before slicing and you won't have any of the pieces rolling away off the board :-)

Greetings from Cajun Country! Every time I hear someone is going to cook a Cajun dish and they are not from SOUTH Louisiana (Cajun Country), I cringe. But you sir made me proud, well done. Thanks for not smoking the dish with too much pepper. That is the 1st mistake most non-Cajuns do. It's not about the pepper, it's about the flavor. You are also correct about the andouille sausage. But it is hard to find in some parts of the U.S.. Nice touch with the okra, which is more of a Creole thing. Although we do love our shrimp, okra & boiled egg gumbo! A lot of people don't like okra because it wasn't cooked correctly (too much slim). But when done right it's awesome. Thumbs up & subscribed. GOD, Guns & Gumbo
