This is an awesome bike and does exactly what it is designed to do. I own 2018. Change the bars, drop the wind screen, tie on a sleeping bag and hit the road. Also owning a few other HD bikes from flatheads to M8's, This bike gives the vintage vibe, with great functionality. It's a Harley-Davidson, get it, build it, ride it.

I totally agree, especially about the bars and windshield. Those were my two complaints when I test rode one years ago.

@@BehindTheEnthusiast Right on ! I"m not big on the tank badge, so its easy to get rig of. The KST King bars are the winning ticket for me. Good height and angle really changed the ergonomics in a positive way. Being over 6ft tall. they are perfect and easy to install .

The Heritage and the Low Rider ST are two of the best all-around bikes H-D makes. The Heritage is unmistakingly a H-D by looks, and it works as well as it looks.

This is the best bang for your buck HD....It has everything you need to roll off the showroom floor with your lady and ride off into the Sunset for under 25K....

The pinstriping was mainly intended for the two tone color schemes, and doesn't look that good on single color paint. The Heritage is supposed to capture the looks of the Duo-Glide/Hydra-Glide, (And does so fairly well for a modern bike) and looking at those classic bikes sometimes the stripes follow the shape of the logo, sometimes not. The stripes are real paint, applied by a robotic machine, and I have to say the quality is perfect. No other mainstream motorcycle manufacturer has the paint finish quality of H-D. Let's give the tank badge thumbs up as it's metal, it's well made, and well detailed. I think it's something much nicer than clear coated over decals.

Definitely would look better with two tone paint. Pinstripes can make or break a paint job so it's a fine balance. Some of the older bike designs are making a comeback, and there a some I'd really like to see happen. Absolutely for the paint. Whether it's by machine or hand, the precision is there. I've never been letdown by paint quality, only colour options. And tank badges I feel mixed. Some are great others not so much. I kind of like the idea of the stickers that they clear coat coming back.

Harley gets $27,000 for those now??
I hope my Harley lasts because with these prices I don't see myself ever going back into a dealership again.

Go for the Suzuki Blvd.C50T., which l feel HD directly copied and came out with the Heritage.
The Suzuki Blvd. C50T costs $$$$ less and you get complete liquid cooling and shaft drive. Cheers.

You know I'm a Suzuki guy first and foremost. Why you gotta do me like that man? Lol. I personally would look at the M109R, however I was told it's not that good. 🙁

The stripping is like a cross between the older deluxe and heritage… They took out the better looking deluxe a few years ago, now that bike is a classic… This new heritage is functional but it looks clunky as heck. I agree that the line looks goofy, and they should just have rounded it off into a triangular circle instead of tucking it into the front. it’s a very functional bike semi modern mechanical looking thing. For 27k+++ damn it should have all modern LED’s and a little more creature tech comfort I would think…

The pin striping obviously follows the classic shape of the teardrop tank, just like it always has!

Black has no place on a motorcycle, except for a few parts. The frame (which should be GLOSS black) the seat, tires, hoses, cables, grips, handlebar controls, footpegs, spark plug wires, and, well, I think that's about it. It should have bright, shiny, high gloss paint, bright unpainted aluminum, and LOTS of chrome. Harleys have been looking like garbage for a long time now, because of all the black, black, and still more black. As for the wire spoke wheels, that means, for H-D anyway, tube type tires, and for me that means not being able to ride it more than around 50 miles from home, because a flat tire with tube type tires (if you survive) means a tow truck. Amazing how bikes still have 1940s tires in 2024. Can you imagine cars having tube type tires today? At least when they did, they had spares.

Yep, black everything seems to be the modern craze... reminds me of what we used to do with rattle-can primer paint in the 60s (had a Norton in that basic color -- cost about a buck), but I guess the youngsters love it, so what do I know...
