ShadeTreeStables agreed!! We’ve done a few of the International Horse Agility Club competitions and they are super fun. Great way to get the barn folks together doing something a bit different!

how did you put the pool noodles on the jumping standards?

I used coated wire. I poked it through the pool noodle and then ran it through the holes on the jump standards.

@@gbhorsemanship991 Awesome! If your horses are unsure of it, make a wide gap between the standards and move them closer together as the horse gets more comfortable with it.

Nevermind, I looked further down and realised someone already asked this question! Trying to think of different projects for lockdown!

Be careful using round poles or pipe. Horse steps on one, it moves, horse loses track of the location, tries to get away, panics, gets one between the legs -- disaster. I've seen it happen.

This is true! We always prioritize the horse's mental state, so hopefully we have a confident horse before we get to the obstacles, but always a good point. Thanks for your input!

I don't know what that is, but if you find something, please share the link here, maybe I can incorporate it into what have at my barn and others :)
