I managed to get top 100 in the 2nd GRF, but I still love watching your Rush Duel Links content It’s always nice to check my own knowledge against someone else’s (especially someone I consider to be vastly more knowledgeable than I am)
Yup nice recommendation that's the deck I'm really expecting in Round 2 I hope my bad connection gets better but if not I'm just gonna play Wyrm Maximum since it's a lot of fun and complete the daily mission 😁
Ah, Goha Rush Festival. That Event that is arguably the most entertaining PvP Event in Duel Links, but it will also determine which Rush's Decks will end up with hits or which Skills will receive changes. - I feel that Rush's Cyber Dragon should be up there with Voidvelg. That Deck is very cheap to create, very abused on the Ladder and arguably the only Deck that players who aren't interested in Rush Duels or don't like the original Rush Duels Decks use in general. Credits to Voidvelg as its F2P version has also shown to be quite versatile and competent despite being a weaker version of DARK Galaxy Deck. - Psychic and LIGHT Galaxy stand out for being the most expensive Decks to create in general, especially Psychic. This makes them not very common to see on the Ladder, but they are pretty good Decks in their own right. I have my doubts if we will see Psychic and LIGHT Galaxy in large numbers in the Top 100, especially with Voidvelg existing. - Metarion is in a weird spot where it no longer feels overwhelming to some people. Yes, the Deck has unfairly strong OTK potential, but I haven't seen many complaints about that (there are more complaints about Rush's Cyber Dragon feeling overwhelming and hard to beat). Also, the Deck relies heavily on its Fusion Monsters which are hard to get out for some people. I feel like this Deck will have a presence in the Top 100, but it will be overshadowed by cheaper or easier to use Decks. It wouldn't feel like the most powerful Deck, even though it is. - Wyrm and Dragon Fusion Decks are the only ones I can see that will surprise you. They're not that cheap to create, but they're not that expensive either. Plus, they have decent matchups against a number of Decks. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if we see more Wyrm Fusion Decks in the Top 100 than LIGHT Galaxy Decks. Either way, unless you want to avoid a Cyberover or Voidover, it's best not to use those Decks since they're quite likely to be touched by Konami (especially Rush's Cyber Dragon). The only fun part will be watching Rush's Jevil (Metarion) get away with it.
Yes. Anime decks will always get future support, both in card releases and skills. Of the cards we have available right now, Globule, Pale Rider and Requiem all saw play for a long time in the OCG.
getting back into rush; what box/special sets/structure deck has the most value currently? I’m thinking Requiem of Collapse (Dark Galaxy, have most of the old psychic cards, and special sets packs open this box anyway) but I also don’t know anything about the rush meta outside DL so is Dark Galaxy a safe investment for future support?
Dark Galaxy will get another big wave of support when they get their fusions and again when we get the Dark Matter cards so I would consider them a good investment. Globule, Pale Rider and Requiem specifically will have a long shelf life. Psychic is quite difficult to build, since there are so many cards spread out over a lot of boxes. Bundles wise, the only good trap cards we have available are from bundles so I would seek them out. NA, Widespread and Rice Terrace are all seeing a decent amount of play atm, with NA having some longevity.
Paladin is a really fun deck, and so close to being a top contender. It just feels a little bit too "fair" atm, not having these crazy ways to get in for a ton of piercing.
I've never been a fan of the GRF or KC Cup formats as a competitive outlet, but I do enjoy them for finding some decent games where everyone is trying to win. I will say that yes, any deck can make it to Dlv 100, but this video was focusing on stage 2, which is where the better decks "should" rise to the top.
Wyrm Fusion has been working quite well for me, even though I have to put in a Big Roller instead of a 2nd Drake Crush. Feels very strong to play.

I'm sure you'll do it again!
I went with Royal Rebels which was fun I got dLv. MAX while everybody else was playing Cyber Dragons and Dark Galaxy 😅😊
Grats on Max! Especially with a rogue deck!
@@Tomatosaurs Thank you! 😊 For Stage 2 I will use Dinosaur Maximum deck!
Seen so many people using cyber dragon
Just got my UA-cam Wrapped and you were my top gaming channel 😃
Maybe this is a sign I'm putting out too many videos 😅

Wyrm max is still a decent deck! Not sure it'll be winning a tournament any time soon, but it's not bad at the very least.

I play Metarion pure when I want to try hard. My favorite deck is metarior cyber dragon or Physic. I topped to max with Seven Road
Did you play SAR or the Paladin version?
Do you think Dark Galaxy is a good investment if you already have Cyber Dragon, given both decks are due future support?
Yes. Anime decks will always get future support, both in card releases and skills. Of the cards we have available right now, Globule, Pale Rider and Requiem all saw play for a long time in the OCG.

thanks for the info
you currently building anything in speed?
@@tenrinjoo I only really play Fluffal in speed, but i've been collecting Dinosaur cards ready for when the new ones drop.
I'm just running my Sevens Paladin deck, after 2 kogs with it, only Cydra, Metarion and Psychic give me headaches.
Paladin is a really fun deck, and so close to being a top contender. It just feels a little bit too "fair" atm, not having these crazy ways to get in for a ton of piercing.
I am using Cyber Dragon in current Goha Rush and really funny, either you get key cards or brick in turn 1 😅😅😅
Yeah I found the same unless you get a proto cyber dragon to summon into a higher level then screwed really
Got to Max. I didn't think i could make it 😢
Congratulations!
Got to max with Sevens Accel Road. Grinding the ladder to get 4,000 more gems for the full voidvelg deck 😭
SAR still the best deck in my heart.
Roll on pre tournament ban list
Time to get top 10 global with only wyrm
😤
Anyone
This event sucks
Any deck if can win 1 can take rpower max
So you prefer Kaiba Cu style ?
