They changed names of those discs because Innova didn't want them to have animal named disc like Innova. Jussi Meresmaa himself said this is The reason for changing names.
Nice video. I’m really interested in the sensei as a throwing putter. I currently have an s-line P3x as my thrower and am curious how this compares to that. I like to forehand the P3x so how would you say they compare in that regard?
Spencer Fouts they are pretty different actually. The P3x is rated at 3 2 0 3 while the Sensei is rated at 3 3 0 1. As far as profiles, the P3x has a bead and is super flat. The Sensei has no bead and has a very mild dome. This is going to make it fly much straighter than the P3x, which could make forehand’s difficult unless you have a lot of touch. Definitely worth trying though!
It's very similar to L64 Pure in their base plastic, except it's a bit more stable. The premium Sensei is way more stable than some premium Pure. It's not the same mold but when comparing the profile it's very similar. Sensei in base plastic is flat compared to premium which is slightly domy. If you're in Europe, the base version has been on sale for under €5 in the Discmania Store Europe. Grabbed one but for me the beadless rim doesn't work in base plastic - the premium is a bit rounder so it's OK. Anyways, I went with Westside Maiden, that's a bit more stable, because it has bead. Westside Swan is another option. It is beadless but with concave bottom side, and it's more understable if you want that.
