Oh my god, the ending to this game made me feel such a rush of emotions. I don't think I've ever felt such a deep connection to a games story and characters like I did with these 2. I legitimately wanted to be part of this world. So good...
Right?! The characters were fictional and I knew that, but I felt as though I'd been right by their side through their whole journey, felt their pain, felt their triumph. This game is so indescribably beautiful. It feels complete as is, but I would definitely love a GAA 3 if it ever came out

Ryunosuke starts his journey with Asougi guiding him, and ends it with Asougi waiting for him at the goal.... omg the feels. I seldom cry playing games, but still couldn't help tear up a bit when I watch the ending credits. As much as I love the characters and want to see more of them , I also love the story the way it is. It has the perfect end to the Ryunosuke's adventure. I couldn't thank Shu Takumi enough for creating this masterpiece!

I love how this song is a mix of nearly all court tracks used in the game and you can easily recognise all of them. Making such memorable and atmospheric music for a game about a lawyer requires outstanding talent. The composer of the soundtrack, Yasumasa Kitagawa, is truly a genius. The usage of harpsichord, accordion and violin is top notch.
This game is a fucking masterpiece. Don't believe me? Go play The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles. It's always a treat when the credits music pays tribute to your entire journey through the game. In this case, across 2 games.
I consider GAA 1 and 2 as one game because separately, 1 alone feels too incomplete with all the unresolved plot points but yet it when paired up with 2 as its second part rather than simply its sequel, just makes it a more complete game... and I agree with preferring AAI2 over this considering the pacing of the reveals...AAI2 just had smoother way of revealing important plot points in the story while in GAA1 and 2, they did not evenly reveal important plot points as SO MUCH was happening at the end of GAA2’s 3rd case...I believe that issue could have been addressed if they revealed more plot points pertaining to Baskervilles at the end of Case 5 of the first game rather than leave it completely unresolved...I mean the title of the case was “unspeakable story” yet the actual Baskerville’s story was merely a macguffin at that point.
I have been playing ace attorney for 8 years now. I used to think that what happened with Edgeworth/Apollo/Nick is amazing, I still do, but in these 2 games I feel like the characters were real. I did not want to finish the game as it is like saying goodbye to some 2D friends.. Shu Takumi, you really are a hero.
Yes I completely agree! There's something that makes me feel that they're more than characters, but actual people! Maybe it's because of the historical setting, or the plainer names of the main cast, or the fact that Baker Street is actually our home... idk but it's so special
Damn, I really love the transition from the cross-examination theme to the summation examination theme. It's so smooth, I really wished someone actually combined them and make a loop of it
Notice how, this song follows the exact format that the trial/game follows after the beginning. The start of the song is a great theme that fills you with uplifting tones of justice and pure excitedness. Then, it reminisces. We start at the title screen music, showing the start of your journey. Then, we get to the cross-examination theme. Just the simple one, as the music for cross-examinations ramps up the more and more you unravel their testimony. Barok then tears away your theory from your hands, and now you stand before the jury to keep your trial going. The prelude to the pursuit theme from the second game plays, leading up to the grand moment where everything clicks into place. Your theory goes from an impossibility to a completely plausible sequence of events. The truth is revealed as you pursue the true criminal and... peace. This part, I think, represents the ending of the game. The journey is over. But, there is more to come. I can envision the ending cutscene of the second game. The boat for Japan leaving on the dawn of a new day, signifying the start of something new. What a beautiful piece, honestly.

Honestly, the beginning sounds like it would be an ending credits theme, it's hard to remember that it's actually a pursuit theme xD and isn't it a remix of the 2015 Ryunosuke objection theme, according to the notes in the music section of the Chronicles. It's so good but it doesn't sound like a pursuit theme, in my opinion. More like an objection theme plus an ending theme, as this tune proves.
