- ANOTHER MASSIVE ROAD PROJECT IN THE PHILIPPINES! AND THIS TIME IT CONNECTS BUTUAN TO BUKIDNON IN MINDANAO!
I wake up in Butuan and decide to try and follow the new mountain road project towards Malaybalay. This road system isn't fully complete yet... but is certainly passable. There are no signs, but locals along the way let me know I am going in the right direction. With big mountain views, and lots of little communities along the way... it really was quite the adventure!

Wow! Used to be a whole day's trek through the jungle from Minalwang (Claveria, Mis.Or.) to Impadiding now just a few hours drive from Butuan - Rock on, ( Note: The foot slopes of Mt. Mangabon is home to the last remaining contiguous virgin Dipterocarp forest in Misamis Oriental - Bukidnon frontier.
Amazing, best of luck on your travels. I was so close to visiting and working in Asia at one point myself. I had experience with modeling and in late 2015 I was in contact with Capcom about the facial likeness role of Leon for the Resident Evil 2 Remake. I failed to mention I also have a voice acting background, in the end I lost the part and I can't forgive myself for wasting such an opportunity. That would've been a real dream come true to visit South East Asia.

The best journeys are often on the roads less travelled. Glad you found the way to your destination. I too love the phrase "O-O", especially how the various people pronounce it; "oh-oh", "uh-uh", "oo-oo" and sometimes, "ah-ah". Love it.

The freedom of movement that you can do in the Philippines is amazing. No way in any chance you can do the same out here in the US; without someone either the law or land owner breathing down your neck. Too much ownership power-trip harrasement here in the US. I have also the rare honor in having a courtesy call to the famed Dato Tagliong...one of the Over-All Datu of the Manabo.

There are also roads that is going to connect Butuan to Tandag road (55km) and Cabadbaran to Cantilan road.

2007 when I lived in Philippines, Mindanao was sketchy at best. Happy it has become safer. The people of Mindanao are stunningly beautiful.

It was just a trail before fire Carabaos and the widen it to concrete it 🐃
Like in Buda it was just a trail for Carabaos back then and they expand it and concrete it 🪨🪨🪨🛣
And it was sort of like Baguio and Marilaque it is really cool like have a popsicle ⛰⛰⛰🍧
And you were stopping and it took you 4 hours to get to Valencia City.
And you had a hamburger and a salad 🍔🥗🥬🍅
And they used a yellow tomato 🍅🟡🟡🟡
And you passed the Lantapan Talakag road and it was raining and you saw a rainbow it is an old logo of GMA before 🌈🌧🌧🌧
