Nemoy (rest in peace) did the best renditions imo. He gave it a real gravitas.
I wouldn’t call myself a Star Trek fan (being more into Star Wars and Doctor Who), but I can’t help but be moved when I hear this speech.
Pine says it how Tyson sees it when referring to space and America.
"... Who we once were, and who we must be again..."
Honestly, the Kelvinverse had some of the hardest entries here with Spock’s second bite at the apple and the entire cast doing Beyond
Apple?
@@fastertrackcreative Yes, it's a fruit grown on Earth, usually handpicked from trees.
When I hear "Space, the final frontier" I dream of being the Science Officer of the Enterprise and to embark on a 5y mission , with destination uncharted sectors of our Galaxy.
Listening to this before I start work 😅 it always lifts my spirits. Thankyou Star Trek 😁 Once a Trekkie, always a Trekkie! 🖖🏻
ill do that, thanks for the idea
Kirk’s last entry at the end of Star Trek 6 is the best!
A Journey to boldly go where no man has gone before is an adventure I would sign up for
That would be the female mind 😂
@@deathchilde lmao
THANK YOU! I was searching for something like this for ages! I miss the old ST with Kirk and Spock etc. They are nearly all gone now, more's the pity. I was born when ST started, so I hope it lives on forever, boldly going where no man has gone before.
0:54 my favorite version of the monologue.
Same
Where’s that one from?
@@CdrChaos Wrath of Khan
Thank you. This was what I was seeking, to find new videos, and new channels. To boldly go nowhere in particular 😉
A Legendary monologue like this will surely be passed down to the next captain of the Enterprise
I.E. Captain Seven
Along with Future Star Trek Shows and Movies to come
If we ever have and get the capability for any of this shit that has happened in this franchise. It should be a requirement to recite this entire monologue when you first enter the bridge as your very first log entry.
I agree 🖖
2:04 This is where it really hits me 🥲
Imagine To Star Trek Star Trek Verse Animation Style Like To Spiderverse Is Space The Final Frontier Speech
02:05 Enterprise-D are back!
Leonard Nimoy (Spock) light years ahead of everyone with this monologue for me.
Thanks for putting this together.
Fingers crossed soon we will hear Seven of Nine recite the speech leading her own series on the Enterprise G
Yeah, now that would be awesome.
Don’t get me wrong i would love that but I’m still salty about the titan A being called enterprise G
@@HANK15508 same
Oh god no. She had her own series it was called Star Trek Voyager
This aged poorly 😢😢
That montage from ENT was the best ngl
I would have loved to hear Jeri Ryan give this speech.
Live long and prosper 🖖🏾
This may be total heresy, but I wonder how the original speech would sound if done by James Earl Jones
I'm glad they brought it back for Pike in SNW. Kinda wish Archer had it on every episode of Enterprise.
Soon 😊
Love it! Gonna show it to my mom, too, since she's a fellow Trekkie.
Anyway, I think we can all agree that Picard does it best 😉
Gotta disagree
Spock's is on a whole other level
@@ChellyBean pretty sure nimoy is also the only one who got to do it twice (Wrath of Khan and 2009)
@@ChellyBean YES!!!
I like 3's intro, but 2 is epic as well❤
Picard is perhaps my favorite..... you can really tell he was classically trained in Shakespear just in his delivery, but I also admire the gravitas with which Spock delivers the speech
@@CaptainJZHI wish there will be a star trek 14 movie.
I'm probably going to get some hate but in my humble opinion, the best are:
1. Leonard Nimoy
2. James Cromwell
3. Patrick Stewart
4. Anson Mount
5. William Shatner
6. Scott Bakula
7. Chris Pine
Not including the others who didn't make the full speech.
Thought Id pick Kirks, but its slappy for the win!
3:14 where can I find the full version of the Archer monologue vid? I can't find it anymore
Not the biggest fan of new Trek. SNW isn't perfect but I'll admit Pike is probably my favorite captain and his version of the speech is my fav too
17-01 Enterprise's Day
(Lo siento, para ustedes es 01/17 😅)
Anson Mount did it best
Agreed!
Archer did it best!
JJ did it best in into darkness
When it comes Star Trek, Abrams did nothing the best
He is the worst thing that happened to Star Trek
For the record the kalven timeline is part of the prime time line hints in star trek discovery i can't remember his name but he referred to the neroder
Again the kalven time line is part of a different timeline connect to the prime thanks to the god almighty lennard Nimoy reprising his role as spock .09 was a breath of fresh air for fresh eyes and minds to do what they see fit with star trek with out the problem with plot holes jj wanted to make something that wasn't just a reboot but part of the og series
@@__N7I think you accidentally typed worst, instesd of best. Lol
The first JJ Star Trek is the best of all 13 movies.
@@austridge31in my opinion, i like ALL of them
Wondering how they managed to convince Galvatron to say this nonsense flashling monologue.
Galvatron who found his peace of mind and realised Optimus Prime’s noble vision?
Wow, they really needed to take out the 'man' part huh. Really couldn't just leave that in and instead replaced it with 'one'.
How to mess up one of the most iconic phrases of sci-fi history.
It does also kinda fuck up the idea that it was humanity/mankind that was going where they had never been, but other alien species had likely done so
"No one" implies that it's completely unexplored territory which is rarely the case, there's almost always someone else there before them
@@CaptainJZH Yeah, it's just substitution where none was needed.
No man sounds better because human are the babies of the universe
Don't you know?
Saying "man" is sexist.
@@CaptainJZH I'm a man, & yet I honestly don't mind it. And to be fair, they did bring it back for the last episode of Enterprise. The "no one" was introduced in the Next Generation mainly because the main crew of that show was now a whole lot more diverse in terms of species, & not just one or two aliens. I love me some diversity!(When it's done realistically & respectful & not as an item on a checklist out of obligation.[LOOKING AT YOU MATTEL!!! You insulted us Autistic people with what you said about you & Thomas the Tank Engine being associated with us during your lawsuit with Edaville's ThomasLand!])
