This song is a perfect example of why the arranged BGM blows the original out of the water. The Neo Geo graphics and soundtracks were definitely showing their age by the time The King of Fighters 2003 launched in arcades. Thankfully, the console ports gave the game a much-needed update in terms of the graphics, stages, and music, and boy did SNK deliver in those regards.
This is actually a remix of How To Play from the 2002 soundtrack. If anything, I guess it demonstrates what the original soundtrack could have sounded fir KoF 2002 if it was given the arranged treatment on consoles, instead of a simple arcade to console port.
Especially at this point in SNK's history where this was after most of the og team leaving and the group reforming to become SNK Playmore, the arcade side of music wasn't as good for many of their projects
