Love Jarrod’s Place! The trails are so much fun and there’s something for every skill level, but what you can’t see in most of these videos is how chill and down to earth everyone is there… from the employees (drivers, shop, builders, etc) to the riders it’s just a great place to ride and I’m fortunate to have it so close to me.
Sick video, the flow there looks insane! In my opinion, this channel has some of the best pov footage. I actually just had to replace my rear brake line, and now you’ve got me scared that I cut it too short and it’ll pull out in a crash! I hope the damage wasn’t too bad!
@@ScottsMTB Dude its so sick. It’s super similar to Kanuga. (I think its better than Kanuga) Theres so many sick dh trails here from big jump lines to some tech. Most underrated park in the southeast in my opinion
I live a town over and have never been to this place I’m new to the trail rides but love it! Is it a good place for beginners or should I get some more experience first?
It definitely has some stuff that will push you but id say it's good for beginners! Everything has go arounds and there are lots other trails in the system that are a lot of fun just not gravity focused like the ones in this video
Damn this place looks sick! I'm up in PA and was scouting a Southeast visit ... Especially since I prefer flow and bigger jumps, this is going on the list for sure. Glad you bounced up quickly from that fall ... I'd say 90% of my crashes happen the exact same way. Sick video! Edit: buddy is brave not wearing knees
Definitely don't want to pass on this place if you love flow! They have another jump line that's even bigger but it was closed this last time I was there due to maintenance. Thanks! 🤘
@@DownhillJake is that the one with the wooden jumps? There's not many videos of it ... I'm sure it's way bigger in person, but the whole place looks sick!
@@topspot4834 not that one, forgot about that line lol. Next time it's open I'll try and get a video out on it. I'm talking about Air Supply, it's a flow trail from the shuttle drop with a black diamond rating!
It was sick! Not the steepest at Jarrods but had a few stunts at the top and one steep section near the end! Overall not that steep but has one section that is definitely steep 🤘
I wanted to travel down to this place but once realizing the shuttle only goes half way up the vertical of the hill I was turned right off. Apparently they have no plans to make the shuttle go to the top either. And at $55 USD / Day it made no sense to me. I wish they'd make the shuttle go to the top, they would get more folks wanting to ride there for sure :P. Sick video nonetheless, keep the goods coming man cheers from Canada eh! YEEWWW!!!! :D \m/
Most of the park is shuttle access the other trails are much harder “extra” trails but if you don’t access them you can still get a full day of riding just fine
Yeah I agree with that, the extra bit that isn't shuttled is quite annoying and I wish the entire mountain was shuttled. (Maybe a ski lift one day??). Even with the shuttle dropping off where it does the trails are so good it makes up for the lack of shuttled elevation
@@cartermacrenaris705 Yeah but it doesn't make any sense for them to have a shuttle, charge as much as they do and only go just over halfway up the hill especially when the vertical of the current shuttle zone is only 387 ft. :P That's more $$$ than Windrock, about 1/3 of the vertical of Windrock's main shuttle drop off (top of Reach Around, Horseface etc.) That would be sick if they put a lift in one day to get ya's right to the top. Although I asked them on instagram if they had plans to make the shuttle road to the top and they said we don't have plans but if you want to buy us a chairlift we won't say no lol. Maybe they just need (more) investors or something, it seems like a cool up and coming smaller park that has potential. Hopefully they can really capitalize on it and get something going right to the top eventually. If they want to be a travel destination bike park like Windrock, Whistler, Bromont, Skyline Queenstown, Highland etc. they're need it. :P
@@RobbisTV completely agree! one thing around the super high single day is they sell 5 day or 10 day punch cards where it's about 35 dollars a day and they are good for a year. Which is only helpful if you are even able to go 5 or 10 days 😂 day trippers are kinda screwed
You know I was thinking the same thing. Theres another park in Alabama called RideBHM. Very small bike park with lots of trails. The park has a climb service road thats about 3000 feet to the top but for some reason there is no shuttle. It would have so much more potential similar to Kanuga
Best flow trails in all of the southeast is definitely not Jarrods place. Its Kanuga or RideBHM. Jake! You need to make a video hitting every trail at ridebhm dude!!

Entertaining and funny as usual, great job Jake!
