@@jeanboyd705 thank you so much. I have recently retired as a Handi Quilter educator of 16 years. I loved my job, but the travel was getting to be to much. Let me know what else you would like to see.
I'm enjoying your videos. Subscribed last night :) I just watched this one and got 2 great things to try! I have a 12' frame with a 15" midarm. I'm positive that I had my quilts too tight when I started 4 years ago. I've gotten better about not being so tight but since I don't quilt many projects it's been a guessing game for me as to how tight I should be rolling my quilt between the bars. I will use your knuckle trick! I will also use your method of bringing the top of the quilt closer to me when basting down the batting and quilt top. Thanks for these 2 great tips!
I’m really enjoying your videos as a new longarm quilter. I wonder if you would consider doing a video on floating the quilt top for smaller projects ?
@@harrietcarpanini3980 Your videos are concise and easy to follow. I don't have that particular robotics, but I feel there's enough overlap and your explaining all you do can be applied.
What are you using for your side clamps (the red clamps)... What I've seen in the past is normally much smaller... I think your bigger clamps would provide more stability! I'm a newbie to the world of LA'ing (hope to own one someday), but I find this very interesting to watch & learn. TFS!!!
Thank you for making these videos. Keep them coming!

Nice calm and easy to understand video.
Thank you!
Glad I found your channel heard about it from Becky at power tools. I have a long arm but only about a year. So glad you’re posting.
Thank you!! She is a big help.

I am always happy to hear that my tips help.
You may need to flip the mirror image on your camera. We can’t read the screen due to it looking backwards. 😊
I've got that figured out! For some reason I can't reload but will try again. This may have to be my blooper!!'
@@harrietcarpanini3980 no biggie... It's a learning process!

Hi Hariette. If your camera has a function that you can switch it to show we viewers it would a bit more helpful. Although it[s very informative.
@@DD-ek8qc I’m learning. Eventually I’ll purchase a better camera. Please be patient.
@@harrietcarpanini3980 I am. Just noticed. I can think bakwards, it's just forward that I get in trouble! LOL Keep up the good work.

This is awesome. Do you do one on one classes?
@@ginnyr5437 yes, I do. Where are you located?

Do you always baste both sides down?
Absolutely!! Good habit to get into. It keeps the quilt square and eliminates any chance of the foot getting stuck on the edge.
Everything being a mirror image makes it confusing
