    I have the red snappers. I' m asking about the clamps you use to secure the quilt to the sides of the quilt frame. I am learning so much. I have recommended your channel to several of my friends. Keep the videos coming.

      @@marybarrow5222 those are actually OXO Chip Clips. I use the grip from the machine and clamp the handle of the chip clip.

      They are called Red Snappers. Your local quilt shop should be able to order them for you.

    Why do you have your thread running through a piece of batting?

      I was showing how to use the basting stitch. I created a plum line on my batting to bring up the quilt top and baste again to. This way everything is square with the frame.

      @@harrietcarpanini3980I understood what you were doing. I was just curious about your thread path. From the spool you have your thread running between a piece of batting. Is that to keep it from kinking and pooling?

      Yes, it is. Glide is a slick thread. Can sometimes jump out of the mast.

    This is great. Sometimes I need both hands to hold the top fabric when I baste it down at the top. It wants to shift on me sometimes. I have learned to lock the stitch so it doesn’t pull when I start it.

    You can baseline, even though you want your whole pattern back. Undo undoes baselining.

    I'm a walking away from the quilt. I know you're busy with your family but if you have a chance. The gear Are making a squealing sound. They do not make it when I don't have prestige you're on

    I just got my HQ Amara 24 with Pro stitcher this summer, and I have been learning a lot. I really enjoy your teaching method, you make learning my style .
