Yes, playing in the key of E is a lot easier with different tuning - I have used the "Canadian' tuning (D-tuning) to do it. The D-tuning also helps to make the ukulele just sound a little brighter. 😊

I'm 14, and I borrowed my sisters ukulele, I wanted to learn it for fun or just to sing for my friends but I have a problem.. When I sing while strumming or playing the ukulele it kinda ruins the strumming. I need help and I am struggling with this.. hope u could help me soon!! ^^
The most common way of pronouncing 'ukulele' WHEN A PERSON IS SPEAKING ENGLISH is the way he pronounces it. Your preferred pronunciation of 'ukulele' is the right way to pronounce it WHEN A PERSON IS SPEAKING HAWAIIAN but only an ALTERNATIVE way of pronouncing it WHEN A PERSON IS SPEAKING ENGLISH. WHEN SPEAKING ENGLISH, do you prefer to say 'Italy' or 'Italia'? How about 'Rome' or 'Roma'? 'Spain' or 'España'? Get it, brah?
