I got a black 2006 NC GT with a boomer brown top but I paid a hell of a lot more for it than you did. You got a sweet deal. I initially thought the brown top was awful but it’s grown on me. I just subscribed and look forward to your upcoming videos.
Ha ha "boomer brown top". Yeah I def don't dislike it as much as I used to, but I think the color of the interior helps. I've made a few videos with the Miata already, and am continuing to make more, so thanks for the support!
Cool , from a old chap from Scotland uk , will be watching your follow ups , as a chap thats just got a mx5 nc two weeks ago We both in the same boat , happy mods my friend.
This car was designed for your roads out there! I'm excited to be visiting Scotland for the first time this upcoming march! Ive done a lot to the nc3 Miata before so this is a lot of rinse, repeat for me. But this car is rewarding! Is this your first Miata?
@@Emadifications hi yep my first bro , aye we have a lot of brilliant roads in Scotland, But bad weather, and mx5's don't like to be wet , and rust is the main problem my friend .
Yeah I'm not sure what they did when they installed the new clutch. I'll get to it eventually but haven't bothered cause I plan on doing a 2.5 swap soon. I'll have them look at that point.
I recently bought an 08 NC PRHT with 50k miles. Paid $10k and feel like it was a decent deal. It was owned by a 74 year old man, inside a heated garage and covered. Wasn't even dusty. The tires had 15 year old date codes so I had to change those but otherwise all his service records were up today.
@@Emadifications My NC had 180K miles before I ran it aground on some rocks. I have an ND, now, but the NC transmission is hardier and I wouldn't have any reservations about forced induction tearing it to shreds.
I’m currently swapping in a 2.5 ford fusion engine into my 07 nc Miata. Just finished tearing down the 2.0 engine this morning and hoping to pick up the 2.5 engine this weekend.
@nolahahnshouse3389 I want to do it myself but I'm so close to Dynotronics and Xoom performance that the idea of just dropping it off and getting it back working sounds so good. But yeah... $$
Great video, love the color of the car. Shoot out from Dallas So I was looking at a 2015 Mazda Miata sport, 37K miles (Clean title, 3 owners) for about $14K. Any thoughts and insights would be really helpful. Thanks in advance
Honestly if it's a club trim for 14k with that low mileage, it sounds like a good deal. 3 owners is a bit much but not bad . Really just depends on condition, etc. but for a 15, that's a good price. Make sure it's got a clean title. Happy to look at the listing also if you wanna shoot it over to me on IG or so.

The squeaking clutch sounds like the clutch fork needs replacing

I like seeing the 185K miles. My 2012 Sport Tech PRHT has 46K miles and I do about 5K miles a year and I am 71. What will go 1st me or the engine? 🙂
Ha ha a bit morbid but perhaps realistic, considering my car is 18 years old... But who knows? You could be 97 driving a Miata with 200k on it!!
My 2006 5 speed has 210k and runs flawlessly. Just bought the metal coolant expansion tank to put in when I have the time.
Wow! That's impressive. Maybe I'll just keep going with this one till it becomes problematic. (I'm planning a 2.5 swap)

That mileage and said condition ? That's solid!! I found a lot in the price range but they had 70-90k miles.

Let's gooo
I'm excited. Def using some design cues off yours soon.

Doing the same in the next few weeks!
@ it really wasn’t as hard as I expected it would be.

0:01 Crazy! Couldn’t sleep, and put this video on AT 2:42 am 😂 and the video starts with a 2:42am little clip 😆
Ha ha no way. A bit creepy, if not a bit cool. 😂

They probably didn't shim the throw out bearing properly.
I read something similar on a car forum. I'll look into it.
Do you plan on selling the wheels?
The OEM ones? Yes. If you're the Dallas area, come get em for cheap!
Cool story, but if you have $5k to $8k burning a hole in your pocket, perhaps you should invest it in a semiconductor mutual fund?
No. It's my car money and budgeted that way.I like to have fun with cars. Investing is for other money.
