Just came across your channel its impossible out here in Atlanta to find these cards. I give up lol. It makes me just a little mad to see people opening up boxes who dont even know the characters but thats just me being salty lol. Great channel my man.
I hate the scalping. This lack of reprints attract them scalpers. its kind of a golden opportunity for them. Also, I never seen so many folks get cases and cases of product for a card game.
Which is why I'm playing on the SIM, I'm hella thankful for his work on it and will be a patreon. Also most of the one piece card game is printed hella good most cards are 9-10 psa and people put a hella mark up on that like bro. Theres a 90% its coming out 9-10psa chill.
I live in Miami, and you're right about the local card shop selling some cards higher than TCGPlayer. I'm trying to get the black cards, and for now, I'm going to get the two Absolute Justice starter decks and buy the Navy staples for set six to make Black Gecko Moria and/or Green/Black Perona.
Simple alts are for collectors , the cheaper variants are for playing , when a manga is 1 in every few cases value will be high which will make the boxes spike . Bandai wants to cater to both players and collectors.
Are starter decks for collectors as well? Or cases upon cases of unopened boxes, just piling dust in some garage waiting for scarcity to drive the price up, for collectors? There is a line between collection and downright hoarding. I draw the line where these practices start to hurt the sostenibility, longevity and entry access of the game. Three locals died here because there Is NO prizing left. I Just sold my entire collection because the Bubble WILL burst soon. I give it until op08, since i hear that 06 07 and 08 will have even LOWER distribution. This game will become at best like Pokémon, where It Is 90% collecting, and at worst people will be driven out because of the prices and the game ends.
I tried to carefully pick my cards but still give in to the market. Most of the stuff are toooo expensive it’s kinda crazy consider how young this tcg is. And some people have no choice to sell sealed products to buy the cards they want. It’s an endless cycle, we can only hope that Bandai meets the demand not just for future sets but old sets as well.
No locals around us and trading online is impossible. Son and I have master sets we are trying to complete besides Mangas and no one wants anything besides high rare Alts. Its sickening.
No cap bussin it 100% is a craze Unfortunayely i dont think it will get better until bandia out more effort into the amiunt of product they produce, the popularity is higher then the supply and thats why were getting scalpers hitting the game so hard With the release of Dragon ball super card game coming soon it i dont think they will put much extra recourses towards this game until Dragon ball fails again and its even more evident then it is nos that One Piece is the best TCG product they have and they give it the attention the community needs to continue growing and claim the #1 TCG spot away from Pokemon
I swear this was annoying enough to deal with pokemon wise but I wish I got more invested in this game because I barely have a choice now with the prices
It is definitely a crazy. Reminds me of Beanie Babies. One day it will crash and people won't be able to get rid of their cards fast enough before they hit a loss. I just hope it improves a bit before it kills my locals. I do the same as you. I don't need to buy singles, and I sell off as much of my extras as possible, but my locals are hungry and there is nothing to eat. They will start leaving soon.
I just sold my sakazuki deck, I'm quitting. This is becoming a game not for players or fans, but an investing game for scalpers and resellers. Made crazy money just selling my op2 stuff and my alt leader sakazuki. Until I see AVAILABLE product, I refuse to participate to Bandai's stupid games of cat and mouse with distributors and retailers. And even if, I'll most likely just play a more budget friendly deck with characters I like, rather than the new shiny deck (probably Ace or Whitebeard). Bit as things stand, I'm wiping my hands until the bubble burst or Bandai learn their lesson (they won't). Also, side story, it is incredibely disheartening having to turn down new people who want to try the game because friggin starter decks are sold out and scalped super hard.

Nah man. I’m with you.

Word up
OP-08 pre order is sold out in a lot of stores in europe
I heard. I’ve been reading about that. I’m about to pre order mine.

Word up. That card grading is not making sense to me to do it. Then again I’m not into that. Unless I earn a winner card😈😈

You going gecko that next set. I think I’m going to start practicing the next set starting in February.

"Simple alts are for collectors , the cheaper variants are for playing' 100% freaking true.

I fee a reprint set is needed. Great video. I like how you're honest about the state of the game
I appreciate that! I try my best not to be afraid to say what I see what's going on and what other are saying.
There are cards no one even care about or use that are jumping up in price
It’s a craze. It’s not even hype anymore.

1000%
You’re right bro, if you gonna buy out the store OPEN THE PACKS TO COLLECT
They love to show off buying like 30 blisters.
No locals around us and trading online is impossible. Son and I have master sets we are trying to complete besides Mangas and no one wants anything besides high rare Alts. Its sickening.
I have not traded one card in this set. I have to hold out now.
This is the most on point market watch lol. Imaginary numbers 😂
I’m saying. What one is just making up value based on damn near nothing.
No cap bussin it

So much is going right for this game and Bandai is failing at every turn.
Thank you for this video
I try my best in dez streets
I want the cards to play but I can’t even get a pack or even a box
Yo. I’m reading comments like this everyday.
I swear this was annoying enough to deal with pokemon wise but I wish I got more invested in this game because I barely have a choice now with the prices
And that freaking sucks.

I like that. There's nothing to eat.

Bye
I feel you man. It funny that everyone says buy single but who wants to do that (really)
Yo I am here for you to hear you complain about the market. Realist thing I’ve heard in a while, haha.
Word. I’ll be as conservative as possible but when there is a problem. You got to let them know.
