When I saw your husband helping you to loosen out your braids, I felt so proud of him. So many black men hate black women natural hair, they always seem to encourage black women to straighten their hair with relaxers, and damage their hair with chemicals. Keep encouraging black women to love their own natural hair. I am a mix race female, who have always admire black women who can grow their natural hair long.
I wish people would stop driving this narrative just because a few fools online squawk the loudest.
It’s the scripture fa me I subscribed
Amen..gotta subscribe to a women who loves the Word and blessed with knowledge. Love your hair Sis!
I love the fact that you started the video off with a bible verse 🥺🤍
I know this is a hair channel but can we get a skincare routine your skin is so beautiful
I noticed that when I add water to my hair like you did, it definitely helps to detangle. Your hair is so beautiful and looks so healthy! 🧡
Yes it does. If only most of us knew how important water was for detangling or manipulationing our natural hair while growing up. Instead, many of us were being told to avoid water so we could protect our hair styles. At times we should avoid water when you don't want a certain style messed up but other than that our hair needs water or moisture as often as possible to thrive and grow.😊
Water will definitely help with hair growth as well like a plant 🌱 lol grease and water moisture oil it helps
Thank you Janet and the scriptures are always a comfort.
When your man stepped in to help, so gorgeous!!! :D

Such beautiful beautiful hair. I just added the step of a dedicated detangle session with a conditioner that has mega slip. Hadn't come across anyone else doing this. Now I see the benefits!! So glad you popped in my feed. Definitely a new subbie.

Very nice video answered alot of my questions
Merry Christmas😊
Thanks so much!
Boil coffee or green tea, let it cool and spray it on your scalp the night before or at least an hour before you wash. Stops excessive hair losss immediately. Coffee is a shred blocker
I’m on a hair growth journey. I hope to grow my hair as long as yours.
..Just subscribed! I love your hair! I've never seen that type of hair dryer before!!

I love your hair and those are store products.
She made was hair so simple.
Who else was lured here by that pink triple comb thing in the thumbnail and is mad that she didn't mention it in the video? 😂 It's on Amazon under pink detangling brush.
love your hair looks so healthy.like your video
literally hair goals
6:54 gotta love your high tech graphics here 😂😂😂 I also condition my hair overnight. I use a plastic bag to get a good seal then I wrap in a soft cozy towel. Oh yes I like this video.
Wow your hair is beautiful so healthy and thank you for the tips since am in a journey of nature hair thing
Love the scripture and the content. New subscriber.🙏🏽
I spray my hair with water too, to detangle my hair and it really works.
This video was very thorough. I can appreciate the time and effort put in to it. Thank you very much! Your hair is BEAUTIFUL!
Thanks for the tips sis
Your hair is beautiful!
Lovely hair I love it bless
So beautiful!
Thank you for sharing
I do your detangling method with conditioner and oil mixture. However, I do this before I shampoo my hair. Then I shampoo and sections, then I condition a second time. Because shampoo always seems to dry and matte my hair
Beautiful and well explained
My fairy hair mother😍😍 I consider this is the day I found your channel..my hair goals❤👊🏾👑👑👊🏾
The only way I could grow my hair was by using heat to stretch out my hair or to texlax it and bun it. I'm trying to make it to the warm weather to keep from dealing with my hair in frustration. I don't have the rev air. I am going to thank you for your video. I am encouraged by your regimen.
Love you start off with scripture🙏🏽🤗
Such pretty eyes and hair. God bless.
Absolutely beautiful
Ok I have been on a health growth journey for a month now and after watching your video I see what I am doing wrong. I do everything you are doing except stretching it. Instead of braiding I usually twist and put in a ponytail wet after I wash it but I see I should at least dry my hair then twist it up and put in a ponytail. Thanks or sharing
This was so nice and thorough. Thank you
Wow! You're the first person I've seen on UA-cam with a hair texture similar to mine. Subscribing 🙌🏾 On track to reach waist length hair this year.
I love how you start your videos with scripture😊
Thank you for sharing. I'm learning so much from you. God bless you.
💖L💖O💖V💖E💖
nice, we have the same texture... have to follow
Janet I have a rev air and I have used it once. Thank you for showing me what to do. I usually were my hair in twist and the single stands are the death of me. I haven’t used heat since April and I wanted to straighten it tomorrow wish me luck thanks Janet!!!
Very long video, LOL, but new Subscriber here. Your hair looks mad pretty after the braid out!
SPOT ON,DEAR.
Yes, I love this scripture, however, it is Psalm 119:165. I just came across your channel and Love your content by the way!!!! ❤️
thanks so much for the info..new to your channel..
I use a brush iron after blowout to straighten my hair, and the night before I do this, I deep condition my hair, wrap it up in processing caps, aluminum foil cap, towel, edge protection wrap and sleep on it... next morning I wash the excess out, blow dry it and brush it with the brush iron at 390 (I use argan oil and other heat protectants in the deep conditioning) and I do the same thing at night. I put my hair in a bun on the very top of my head, as I learned, this is the only place where my hair won't break off. I put like a felt head wrap about my edges to keep them from being rubbed out or messed up by my night cap. I also got satin pillow cases as a back up incase the head covering comes off. I learned to do this from another girl on youtube years ago, wish I could remember her, she was the one who told me about heat being necessary to get moisture into my hair. My mom and other idiots told me to use cold water to wash my hair and stay away from heat, which ended with me having hair that was so dry, it literally rejected water and coiled in on itself instant dreadlocking in the shower, sometimes so bad I had to just cut my hair or use a relaxer just so I could detangle. Everything you said in here was definitely on point. I'm just glad there are people out there spreading the word to help sistas out here who're struggling like I was.
I just got that detangling brush and my hair loves it
This is soooo cute! You look great! Have you ever tried a wash and go?
Very detailed
Your hair looks good
Loving the hair!!!! 💜I can’t wait to grow my hair as long as yours. Dear can you please tell me where you got your pink brush from, and the name of it? It’s hard to find a brush that doesn’t snag on your tresses.
Very beautiful vibrant hair!!
I just love it!!!❤
I can only wish that my hair looked this great.
For years I wasn't big on length bc I've always kept my hair cut short. But since the pandemic, I've been twisting it after shampooing. Also moisturizing the scalp. And it will stay in those twists all week bc I work from home now. However, even though I don't moisturize my hair as often as I should, I have seen some growth in the passed 2 years, which is nice. 😍
But then I tend to lose alot more hair than you showed in your tutorial and you have 3 x the hair I do. Guess I may need to try deep conditioning it and brushing the ends and trimming more.
Haven't tried the stretch method. I rarely blow dry my hair. I usually wash and twist. Is twisting part of the stretch method?🤔🤷♀️
Anywho, thanks for sharing 👍
Will be trying your methods and looking forward to having big beautiful hair like yours someday😍💖
Wow! I like your routine girl
and your hair looking very beautiful🙏🙏👌👌👌
I need to train my hubby to help with hair!!!
Thank you for this. I'm on a journey to waist length. I'm literally a half-inch away from bra strap length but one of my biggest challenges is detangling. I've used Tresemme when my hair was relaxed and it worked really well. Will see if it will work well with my natural hair.
Congratulations! Hang in there. I have put chemicals in my hair so many times and lost the victory. Be blessed.
@@dianneallen8004 So I’ve since gotten bored with my hair and decided to cut it 😂 My display pic is a recent. Will probably allow it grow it out a little longer but loving my short hair 😊
I do this style and then I band braids by diving my hair in two halves and then band the two sections, like a pigtail look .
I love your channel
your hair is look so well nourish
Great video🙌🏽 but ladies just make sure you research hydro fatigue because too much water left on your hair is like swimming for too long... your finger tips get soggy well our hair and skin are made of the same protein/keratin so know your hair ladies💯🙌🏽🤩😘
your hair is identical to mine 🥰 i hope it grows ☺️
Beautiful hair
You're lovely. God bless you.
I've been thinking about getting that tresemme conditioner to use as a prepoo.
12:58 I
Can
Relate! Omg sometimes i am huffing and puffing when I do my hair, my arms hurt! Sistah we supposed to do each other hair lol I know id I had a friend to condition and comb my hair I would be less tired. Wow finally someone speaks truth on it! Sis all blessing to you!
Thank you for making this video! I feel like I’ve watched tons of videos and this one filled the need to show how to grow hair by stretching it using heat tools. Can I ask what settings are you using on your RevAir? Thanks! 🙏🏾
Hey girl, I’m using low heat (I) and speed 7. I use heat (II) as a heat blast at the very end ❤️
Amazing
God Bless you My Darling Shalom ❤
love your accent
Beautiful 😻
Lovely lovely video! Thanks for elucidating each point on how not to lose too much hair detangling. I think I'm lazier than you are cos wash days are quite hectic (the whole day gone!)
I always lose too much hair while detangling in the shower and I'm always just trying to get out of the shower so I rip off my hair at the end 😥
Tomorrow's wash day for me and I'm really thinking I'll make me some flaxseed gel to use as a detangler before shampoo. What do you think?
BTW my hair is 2 years old this month and is almost at bra strap length (has been at this length for the last 5 months now because of excessive breakage)
Beautiful
1. drink a lot of water 2. eat right 3. get rest 4 clean hair and keep moisturze(treat it like a houseplant). 5. trim ends 6. DON'T PLAY IN YOUR HAIR. avoid uneccessary manipulation and stress.
THAAAAAANK YOU!
