Now that the engine is still out of hondaru. Can you finally make an oil drain plug? Then you no longer have to pump out the last oil. greetings from Belgium 👍
Kyle must be having some sort of epiphany moment now, using a torque wrench to tighten nuts in a gearbox, no leftover bolts in stuff and now he's looking to use a wheelarch roller rather than a baseball bat!
Aluminium is used because the driveshaft then becomes a weak point meaning nothing in the transmission or diff gets hurt if things go wrong. The shaft breaks before anything else.
@@peterphilipse8792 a lot of class rules do not let you run aluminum or carbon fiber driveshafts in cars making over 800hp. Heavier chromoly driveshafts also do not shear like aluminum and are much better at dampening.
Kyle....for the Prelude's fenders, cut down the end of a 3 ft. long 2x2 about 8 inches back to where its just about a 1/2 inch bigger than your wheel gap. Shove it in about 6 inches deep at the rear of the wheel, pull the car forward "slow and steady" while someone holds the 2x2 square with the tire and works it around as the car pulls forward. Instant cheap fender roller!!!
@@nickdollen4300 I'm aware of that bro. I've been watching for a few years now. Just saying he should update it maybe once or twice a year. Kind of like sitcoms lol
I know a lot of folks are OG and got here through the hatch. I started watching about a month before the prelude showed up. When it did, I couldn't get enough of this shit. The prelude will always be special to me and I wanna see it get the record soooo bad.
Thanks for posting a video I can watch before bed in England, I usually get a notification at 3 in the morning and have to watch your vids blurry eyed, not tonight!!! Loving the vids!
The proper way to use an extension as a crane handle. Find deepwell socket that fits inside pump snugly. Use extensions that fit socket. No more wasted movement. You won't even miss the handle... until you gotta let it down! LOL
Should also put a hood back on and position the scoop a bit further towards the bumper to cover the hole or have a Harwood scoop/cowl hood section from Summit Racing fiberglassed or welded if you choose steel to cover the hole.
Dang a head gasket already Emilio dude can't catch a break,!!! He needs some positive ju ju asap!!!! Kyle, where is your wheelie bar for the mr2!!?? It needs one you know it!!😃🤘👍
Wonder if you could space the diff down from the body a 1" or 2" for driveshaft clearance with some thick poly bushings. 1. This would keep the yolk on the diff from climbing when you get on it. 2. cheap, easy, and simple.
Turbos will still make same boost level at any elevation if that's what the wastegate duty and boost is calling for, the difference is the speed of the turbo will spin more to make that same boost level. So if the turbo isn't maxed out it will still make that same boost. What can happen though is you may need more motor rpm to spin it fast enough so it may be more laggy at higher elevations
Stuff a couple old magazines between the tire and fender bounce the car. It forms the fender to how many magazine you put between them. It's easy if your in a pinch at the track or can't buy a roller
i think that rubbing on the shaft if from the trip home pulled tight to the trailor , if it rubbed in use it would be same cut all the way round. just my thaught
Defo need to get a steel drive shaft made up coz you can go with a lot smaller diameter with a lot thicker wall so it don't have the clearance issues then!!?!👍🏻👍🏻😎🤘
Almost choked on my food when Kyle said he would have to track down a fender roller. I thought you mean Brent doesn't have one laying around, then I remembered he's a tunner not a ricer.
Hey... I noticed the rear wheels weren’t spinning the same as the front.. do you think that maybe it’s got something to do with the way the trans is transferring power?
Killing these daily uploads, the more content the better! I don't care if they're even small stuff just having stuff to watch is amazing!
I totally agree it's the little thing that keep us up to speed like we're there. And I am pretty sure you are speaking for the most of us lol

nah makes too much sense
@@Megacatares lol facts
Need Hondaru in the intro to change to a recent clip with the new paint and the Rowdesy burnout changed to a rwd burnout clip!
Send it
Instead of changing, they need to literally morph.
and a mr2 wheelie
He had a new intro but his laptop got stolen
I love that color on Hondaru, what is the paint code??? Where would you get this paint??
Kyle must be having some sort of epiphany moment now, using a torque wrench to tighten nuts in a gearbox, no leftover bolts in stuff and now he's looking to use a wheelarch roller rather than a baseball bat!
Yeah, he's maturing from the og don't care ill just get a junkyard trans and send it again.
He can afford to do better now. Plus he's using new racing parts. He knows how much that sh$t costs to replace. That'll make you wanna do better. Lol
Purely a money thing obviously
On Hondaru, go with a steel driveshaft. Can go with a much smaller diameter tubing then with aluminum.
Hondarou
@Kevin A. If you can touch the sides...

Tell me if I'm missing something.....is the driveshaft out of round? It's wearing on one half of the tube. Seems odd to me. I could be wrong.
Even with the Honda engine Subaru's still being a Subaru. seems like the car never wants to work right.
it's the curse of subaru
American Subarus maybe haha. I have no problems with all of mine personally
Same mine has been pretty reliable
Takes time. In time she will be reliable. Well as much as a race car can be lol
It sounds like a equal length header subie too
Love how last video i mentioned Hondaru being scared* of Rowdessey, now he getting a checkup lol
Damn man, loving these constant uploads!

The minivan burnout in intro should be replaced with rwd burnout now :D
The entire intro should be re done. So much has changed and evolved since the first one was made.
Same thing I said yesterday
InertzTV this is not the first

Nice fab job having the roll bar through the corner of the dash. That looked very nice

When you go one piece driveshaft with those subies, definitely need to bash the floor to clearance the shaft. I’ve been there with my subie
Man dig every video .yalls shop vibe is amazing keep it up.k swap everything.
As a current owner of a WRX and former Honda owner this is one of the coolest things I've ever seen
using extensions and vice grips to get the engine lifting!
KYLE WE LOVE YOU! keep it up brother 💪
You guys trying to keep up with Cleetus’ month of freedom or what? Loving all the uploads
Good practice, preventative maintenance before Big breakage. Driveshaft an Extra **
You guys should use a fire ring/o ring groove to keep your head gaskets intact. Headstuds only really hold more if you increase the clamping torque.
Wow good catch on the driveshaft
Polished prelude headlights would look neat
uses need to put the trim on the front bumber to set it off love the vids!!!

I really needed this I sliced my finger open today at work and had to get stitches for the first time. Not fun
I like the color match trunk with the STI spoiler better. 👍
Kyle knocking it out like CRAZY. Keep them coming 🤙🤙
Gotta get subframe bushings. Keep it from moving and hitting the driveshaft.
Keep up the good work guys!
Love the maintenance vids 💯
might be worth checking out first gen forester subframe spacers to make room for the hood to clear they space the engine down 30mm ;)

Agree need a new oil drain hole installed while the engine is torn down
Time for some aluminium bushings in that rear!!
Can't wait to see some racing!!!
Emilio has the cleanest build. Especially the interior 😎
Hondaru is winning it looks epic. Its a really good quality job.
Hopefully hondaru is back up and running soon!!!
You got that right Emilio, race car life 💯👍👍👍
Nice update guys!
Stuff a couple old magazines between the tire and fender bounce the car. It forms the fender to how many magazine you put between them. It's easy if your in a pinch at the track or can't buy a roller
Those rear bushings you are talking about at 7:45 I believe are called Outrigger bushings.... I could be wrong
Dang!
That beast is going to be Insane❣️❣️❣️
Tom and I are rocking the same flip flops!!!
Baseball bat works good for rollin fenders
i think that rubbing on the shaft if from the trip home pulled tight to the trailor , if it rubbed in use it would be same cut all the way round. just my thaught
Keep up the good work brooooo!!🤘🏼🤘🏼
Kyle, you can get a fender roller from Eastwood. They sell everything body-related.
Didn't like the color a couple weeks ago, now I'm in love with it.
it said there was 0 views on the vid when I clicked it haha, loving the content boys keep it coming!
Love your content Kyle!
Bad ass builds bro !
Hondaru need the factory side skirts put back on and the front bumper pieces...would look good with a lip as well
Im not sure if it is gonna be hatch fast but but its definately gonna be a beast all its own. Emilio deserves it because he has worked his tail off
I have a Dynotech Drive shaft straight quality!
Damn I hardly ever see integras in blue that one in the background at 2:22 is pretty cool. Love integras man.
Here before Kyle runs out of that good ole Florida motivation 🔥. Enjoying the daily uploads while it lasts.
self clearanced nice
Swap out your diff cross member and trans cross member with tss fab tube frames. Those things will give you the rigidity hondaru needs
Do the dowels engage both the engine and trans? In the v8 world we have to use longer dowels when using a midplate or an adapter.
Good Video Fellaz! It will B Great when It getz Right!
Glad to see the Lude is back!!

PUT A SUCKET ON THE END OF THOSE EXTENTIONS , ONE THAT FITS IN THE JACK PUMP.
Glad to hear that the prelude going to the track but I was hoping it was gunna be the van when Brent said everyone was going to the track this week
Get a t-bar and rear subframe from Tssfab. It will have the drive shaft clearance and will save you a bunch of weight
If you need to roll the fender you can always use a socket. Or a book rolled up. Or a baseball bat.
off work just in time for another banger👀
Hondaru keeps breaking, It's Subaru part kicked in.
Time for a couple drag shaft loops? Hondaru, minivan...
Prelude needs a dog box ..! Thanks for the vids ..
The Prelude has a dog box.
It's because it's still a subaru at heart. That motor would work fine in a Honda or Toyota
You should get the air valve on the cherry picker like Taylor ray has on his.
Looks mad with the wing on it
Emilio dude that colour was the right choice. Love it more all the time
Hondaru on a mission!!!
Keep up the good work boiz
How lucky was that with the drive shaft but your both killin it
“For maintenance” 🤣🤣🤣 nice 👍
You guys should do a Complete Wiretuck on HondaRu!! Make it go from Beautiful to Extraordinary!
Heyy love ur content!!!!!!!
lol, i use and extension and a pair of vise grips on my cherry picker too. who knows where the handle is......
Awesome dudes. Pls remember a full fuid change INCLUDEsS BRAKES!! With love I.R
Upgrading to stronger headstuds so half can be left out.
Look into TSS Fab they make rear subframes for Subaru’s
@4:00 @4:15 kyle with the fancy foot work
Almost choked on my food when Kyle said he would have to track down a fender roller. I thought you mean Brent doesn't have one laying around, then I remembered he's a tunner not a ricer.
I saw an Eastwood or Eastwoodish.......fender roller on Amazon for less than $40 bucks
My 2012 wrx made 260 at 300 on a mustang dyno with just a Invidia downpipe and catback
LOL as long as there is enough atmosphere for the turbo to create the target boost, then elevation does not effect the power output
Hey... I noticed the rear wheels weren’t spinning the same as the front.. do you think that maybe it’s got something to do with the way the trans is transferring power?
Man. Once Hondaru's bugs are worked out it is going to be DIRTY!
Gotta find that missing jack handle and use it to roll the fenders!!
Just woke up from the wake and bake with goofy, now a 420 dab with the boiz? Sign me up lol
Wake and bake with goofy?? Where and how do I sign up
Thought I saw hondaru's engine on the ground in the last vid. Glad its nothing major, just some maintence n what not. Yeye
