idk what the part of the ear is called, but i’ve tried putting them on and they keep slipping off so i came to the conclusion that my ear shape can’t hold them in place

Well ears has different shapes so probably you have other things that are fitting your ear shape. I wanted to so specific style of piercing, they i found that i can't, while one the other hand i can do other parts. And this part of you gonna do a real piercing it is called "conch" so ask a professional piercing then put the fake one.
