I wanted to know why and when we use transformer secondary winding as star & delta. What is 6 pulse 12 pulse output of transformer & How harmonic is reduced by 12 pulse transformer
You don't ground the chassis you bond the chassis to create an equipotential zone and to carry ground faults back to the circuit through the grounded neutral to operate the over current device
what will happen if frequency changes please give practicle , real time examples and what will happen if two power plants of different frequencies Eg:- 50 hz and 60 hz are connected to an infinite bus. Sir please make a video on this.
my question is why don't we have a dc negative terminal at 0 V ref. for AC we use neutral for return path which is 0V normally , if not then to make sure we connect earth wire with it . but in DC case why do we have DC voltage negative terminal to have -ve of voltage and not 0V like in the case of neutral in AC systems
Hi, As we know that the current flows when the circuit completes or we can say the current flows in a closed circuit. And now how the circuit is completed if we connect the bulb with phase and ground/earrings. The bulb will glow but how the circuit is said to be closed.
But if you touch the neutral wire of an outlet and your foot is on the ground you will get electric shock. If the ground is 0v then the neutral must have a potential for the current to flow, right?
Thank you :). Please provide such real life insights for electrical E. G how appliances work... What are the advancements in different topics of electrical or electronic
Hello Sir!If only one wire (Phase Wire) carries charge and other wire(Neutral) is always at zero potential, then when we connect an AC supply across capacitor, shouldn't the plate connected to neutral always be uncharged? But for capacitor we say that BOTH plates should be oppositely charged to establish Uniform Electric Field....then how is capacitance created in case of AC supply Sir?
Sir please answer me, does the tester glows on DC or not. If yes, does it glows on positive terminal and negative terminal due to the matter of convention current and electron current. Another doubt is, does a bulb glows on positive charges or negative charge?
While testing the continuity with a tester we should put a finger on the top metal screw to Glow the light inside the tester. why we not get the shock.
My question is also same and also Considering our if body is not connected to earth while keeping a finger on top of tester, how the lamp in tester glows?..humbly requesting you to explain with construction of tester
Nope. Neutral is the return path of the current. Grounding is done to allow a low resistance path for the current during faulty situation. If there is no neutral, the return current will flow through this ground. Obviously this isn't the purpose of grounding.
i don't get it!!! why grounding the thing in the first place?? so that people get killed in their homes when they touch the OTHER wire, the live one? please explain.
Neutral is a conductor which is use to complete the circuit and flow a current only in fault conditions not in healthy condition But grounding is used as a protection scheme to protect the equipment and human body , it also carry a current in unhealthy condition
You have a strong accent, but your English grammar is one of the very best (of a non-native-English-speaker), which I heard since a long time
Very informative, appreciate your efforts, Thank you 🙂
Dear guru g u clear my concept right today ...this concept pending 10 year because our teacher could not known as like u

Does AC current travel via the earth mass to a transformer source nearby when there is a fault in a domestic home appliance ?
I will buy windows laptop in April just to watch your paid course 😍
#prince Gupta purchase ces courses, it's best

if i connect the negative terminal on the dc batery to the ground for example big metal part does the bulb still working
Sir make a video on VFD which is used in lifts
Thank you sir for clearing my doubt since araising from last 2 years and even Lecturers can't explain it thank you a lot
if we don't connect neutral point to the ground will we get shock.will the tester glow?
Ur excellent in explaining sir 😍,please do the videos on OP amp in ur way
But if you touch the neutral wire of an outlet and your foot is on the ground you will get electric shock. If the ground is 0v then the neutral must have a potential for the current to flow, right?
If another side of phase phase is grounded then why short-circuit can't happen
Sir,
When netural cut how we getting return supply.
good tutorial
So useful video
What does it mean when your tester lights up when you stick it in the socket hole where the neutral wire is?
So what about the ac generator? Two brushes and only one has the polarities and one brush at 0 potential?
Very Nice....

Sir you made great job,, Excellent videos,, I have a question
What is use in place of tester for High Voltage or Extra High Voltage ??
As per your explanation, Incase the second terminal(neutral) without grounding mean it will glow the tester. Right?
So do we connect the neutral to earth or ground???
Love from bangladesh 😍
Sir , then why do we feel electric shock when touching neutral ?
Sir , after 1 phase small transformer , output is not connect at grounded, so why tester only glow on one of wire??
A neutral is defined as the conductor that carries the imbalance of a multi conductor circuit
Sir difference between elcb and Rccb with clear explanation please...
What will be the neutral potential if it is not grounded / earthed ?

Considering our if body is not connected to earth while keeping a finger on top of tester, how the lamp in tester glows?..humbly requesting you to explain with construction of tester
Please upload next video quickly
Chassis ground is also use for to isolate the device from noise??
While testing, if we are in air (not touching to the ground) the light inside the tester will glow or not?.
Does we experience shock if we touch the neutral wire of Ac supply
Does testers work in dc power supply???
Do we get shock from dc power supply by touching positive standing on the ground
Sir please make a video on other groundings for signal noise reduction
What does the line tester check? (Voltage or Current)
Its voltage
Why tester glow when I use chappals or on a bed or chair while checking a live part ?
How the circuit complete there ?
Capacitance
Nice sir
Good morning sir ji . Sir pls all electrical engineer video explained in Hindi pls pls. Your all video fabulous and gain knowledge.
If both neutral and earthing are same why do we need a separate earth pin in socket sir?
Sir, please pilot wire ko leke ek video banaiye. What is pilot wire ?
Sir ..is tester ll glow for DC
Yes it will
Some times in neutral also the light in tester blinks with less brightness. Why
Thank You So much Sir..
Super class sir
Sir if we touch neutral wire will we get shok ???
Than can we use direct grounding without using neutral for eg .230V bulb or fan?
I.e., phase and ground(in absence of neutral)
Nope. Neutral is the return path of the current. Grounding is done to allow a low resistance path for the current during faulty situation. If there is no neutral, the return current will flow through this ground. Obviously this isn't the purpose of grounding.
@@asmitkoirala2657 if return supply is grounded ...then also lamp will glow, but y we won't prefer that?
Please read the description for the answer
@@ThePiSquareAcademy love you sir...so helpful for replying
Sir please explain how star delta transformer step down the voltage and delta star transformer step up the voltage
How was take neutral wire from 3ph transformer
Sir, do tester works on dc sipply ? And if so, does it glow on the negative terminal ? Unlike neutral for ac supply
No
What a class sir
What is difference between line tester and normal tester ?
Thank you sir
Sir what is current in conductor flow inward and outward
If ground is not there means then how will you explain
Sir, but if neutral is connected to ground
Then it means that neutral can act as both ground and phase
Am in right sir??
Sir..
When we aren't connected neutral to ground and then also tester will not glow sir ....Why sir can you explain sir???
Please read the description for the answer
So we connect neutral with ground ???
Why 2 phase is used and how the 2 phase Mechin runs without neutral
Sir please explain RMS and Average value explanations
We already have a video on that, you may check this link ua-cam.com/video/iX2ucvDG63w/v-deo.html
i don't get it!!! why grounding the thing in the first place?? so that people get killed in their homes when they touch the OTHER wire, the live one? please explain.
Dear Jose, Please check this video to know Why grounding when fuse is available to take care of the protection ua-cam.com/video/wfq75nzKaWA/v-deo.html
Sir tell me the point of our title
Not another stuff
Iam getting confused, till now i didn't clarifed my dout
Wt is actually the difference between ground Nd neutral
Ground is always at zero potential, but neutral may not be at zero potential
Neutral is a conductor which is use to complete the circuit and flow a current only in fault conditions not in healthy condition
But grounding is used as a protection scheme to protect the equipment and human body , it also carry a current in unhealthy condition
Signal grounding is not understand sir
Sir pls clarify my doubt ...why does tester doesn't glow in dc supply?
Signal ground should be a capacitor grounding.
If we don't provide earthing, will the neutral still be at Zero potential..???
Why/How Neutral is stabilized at zero potential by connecting it to Ground.
Sir tester will glow in both(phase and neutral) terminals of AC
