I love Don Cherry and I always have. I love to hear his predictions and then go back and check and see if he was right or not. He predicted Wendel Clark would score 30 to 35 goals in that season...guess how many he ended up with? 32...and he was traded that year too! Wow....
I live in Windsor and I remember that Kugel incident...there were a couple fights going on and he left the bench and just went nuts lol. He just skated up to a guy and suckered him, and then just skated around looking for any willing partner and when he couldn't find anyone he took off after a guy who was just standing in the corner lol. He was waving and pointing the whole time, it was right out of the Slap Shot film lol.
