When I put my car in reverse and back up I’ll usually here one sound kinda like a click driver front wheel and sometimes when I downshift with the paddles shifters I’ll hear it could that be cv axle ?
@@xtuber536 Those CVT are known for going out. It could be the Trans shuttering or mabey a misfire. Or mabey a bad tire. 🤷 Is there a check engine light?
Like butter. Thank you for the tip on removing the bottom bolt & nuts
Thanks for watching 🤘
so if i just unbolt the bottom of the ball joint my aliment will still be true ? love the idea. Have to change mine next day or so.
Yes. You can take it off and put it back on with no alignment needed.

It sure could be. But it could also be a ball joint.
@@mechanicgray okay thanks for the insight
Need alignment after this?
No
What are the signs of bad cv? My car is shaking from 15 to 30 miles when accelerating
Usually they will make a popping sound when you turn or be leaking grease. If it was a Axle causing it I think it would vibrate all the time.
@@mechanicgray do you think it may be something else? Have you heard something similar to this? It is a Corolla with a CVT

@@mechanicgray no check engine light I had one but it was for the temperature sensor
Without driving it. I don't know. Good luck though.
Does it usually come out that easy?
This one was harder to get out than normal
What the cost for both CV axles to be replaced?
I'm not exactly sure since I don't do the billing so don't quote me but somewhere in the neighborhood of $400 prob.
😮
