There are actually 7 modes total, I missed the TF-R mode and it is basically Tilt follow mode with rolling feature

@@AllenLo I have a question about the gimbal. The manual camera positioning can't work just for the tilt axis. In any mode I try (hf, tf,af, lk) just the tilt axis remain in the position what i set with hand. When i try to set the pan and roll axis the gimbal jump back to the original position. The other interesting behavior of the gimbal is that when use in very extreme position the gimbal start to spinning and don't find the balance. And when i positioning it back to vertically the camera face to me or leaning in random bad heading. Meet this two problem meanwhile you use the Ak2000?

Thanks for demo. I wish though you can help me. I balanced mine perfectly and as you know the default setting when switched on is HF mode and the camera facing forward and my Gimble does that, however when I select TF mode and do exactly like you did @ 2:49, that's put the Gimble upside down and back normal my Gimble goes crazy and the camera faces me rather than facing forward and even if I double click the back button the Gimble /camera faces me as if this is the default setting. In fact even if I switch off/on the Gimble sometimes it assumes the initial setting as facing me rather than facing forward. Any thought or help please

Hi everybody! Anybody who use this great gimbal with a lightweight camera (camcorder or photo camera) fight with the problem of the pan axis balance. The main reason why this axis can’t balance because the vertical arm can’t slide enough to it’s end position (there is marking on the arm with the 5 cm sign, but in the real life it’s going to 4.1 or 4.2 maximum). To unlock this deficiency you must unscrew the four philips screw, and unscrew the three hexagon socket screw. One is visible at the front of the arm, the another two is come up after you unscrew the four philips and remove the plastic cover. Take care of it’s rear end because it’s glued to the arm. When you unscrew the two rear hexagon screw now it’s removable the rear limiter what is prevent so far the arm sliding to the end of the marks (now my gimbal’s vertical arm sets to 5.5 cm what is much enough. The good pan axis balance for my Panasonic HDC-HS 100 camcorder with approx. 450 gramm weight is at the 5.0 cm mark.) After the remove of the rear limiter you take back the plastic cover, however now you can only screw the two philips at the front. That’s all.

You can also use a file to grind the little tab down. Only took a couple minutes and it worked perfect. Now I can use small and medium size cams!

i have an a6400 before with this gimbal and it's great! just put a cage to add weight to the a6400 so you can balance the pan axis (3rd axis)

Great tutorial, thanks. I bought the AK 2000 last week and the roll mode cannot be activated. Pushing the power button once in either HF or LK mode is what it supposedly takes but still no rolling mode. The screen remains on HF/LK. Any ideas?

Yes, I have a canon T2i and the gimbal came with AV digital cable that can trigger the shutter and recording

Hey man, I have an important question. I purchased the gimbal and it was great, but after using it for a bit, even when the camera is balanced correctly, and the camera is well below the weight limit, it slowly starts to lose the horizontal horizon and tilt. I have to turn the gimbal off, then back on, and keep doing so every time it does it. I am not sure if its software, or if there is another issue with it that can be solved
You may want to contact feiyutech, I've never encounter horizon drifting

Just be aware that when I upgraded to this new firmware v1010 , 2019-08-20 I had instant lost modesf HF-R, TF-R and LK-R.

@@kostaschelioths6608 I sent it to shop and they downgraded for me. but a long time, then I updated because i think that modes is not comfortable while using reality
I tried to upgrade to the latest firmware as soon as my ak2000 arrived and I took it out of the box. The process wiped the existing firmware and I ended up with a blank screen. Needless to say I sent it back.

You wont be able to, unless you hold it side way using all follow mode
I bought this in January 2020. I have all modes except all the R modes (HF-R, TF-R, LK-R). I press once the on/off button but nothing happens :( Do you know what is going on?

@@amal7687 FeiyuTeck told me that it is because new firmware, they said that those modes were not too much difference so they deleted them from latest firmware

Hf-r and TF-r mode not showing
I confirm firmware is up to date. And I followed the instructions by single click on power button when in HF mode, still not showing.
The new update got rid of those two modes
Great Vid! I just bought an AK2000. Have you had any issues with the unit drifting after a brief time in use. For example: filmed a brief shot and I am holding the camera steady. The camera, while on the gimbal, start tilting to the left and pointing down. The gimbal was well balanced, so I am not certain why it would be drifting while in a stable holding spot. Thoughts?

I was able to use it for 4 hours continuously and still have juice left
For some unknown reason my gimble only has 4 modes unless I'm doing something wrong.
